"she returned to me a week later and paid! I was thrilled! Now it was real. Somebody wants what I'm offering"I was running a membership that was not working out too well. I had opened and closed the cart three times within six months, only enrolled a handful of students who weren't even engaged in the training I had labored over for months. I was exhausted. I wanted to know how to get my current students to participate in the content because if they do, they'd see the result, which would put a big stamp of approval for my program. That's when I saw an email from someone talking about EPM and how it's an experience product! I was like, BOOM! This program is precisely what I need. So I went into EPM intending to make my recurring membership module work, and here was Marisa telling me I was building an incompatible business model for the stage of business I was in! Ouch! I was resistant to change because I'd already created so much infrastructure for the 1:many business model but had little traffic, and I was pivoting to a new niche and offer!! But something had to give. It took some back and forth with my coach, and then a light bulb went on!! It was no wonder I had spent three years tearing my hair out, implementing business models that weren't a good fit for where I was on my journey and what I wanted as an entrepreneur. That realization alone was worth the EPM investment for me. So from that point on, I was all in with the program, although I lost some momentum when I intentionally took time off during the holidays. Thankfully my first sale came in the first week after the holidays, after touching base with someone through chatter boxing. I'd been talking to them about helping course creators utilize their YouTube channel to get more leads, and she'd expressed an interest. I felt unprepared for the call since I hadn't done much of the EPM training during the holidays, but she returned to me a week later and paid! I was thrilled! Now it was real. Somebody wants what I'm offering even in its messy stage.
