2021

My challenge is learning to live with the effects of military sexual trauma and physical limitations from my career as a US Army Professional Soldier. My attempt to rebuild my life has been one of the hardest intents, in my life. My inner self has been devastated. Rebuilding my inner self-regarding resilience has added strength to a shattered loss of self. The process of restoration is the foundation of my Holistic Health and Wellness program in relation to understanding, what the process is in a world bent on not fully addressing me or any person as a “whole” relating to healing, not just the body but the mind, spirit, and soul. In this EPM program, I learned to listen to the inner voice of my truth. I discovered I need to have harmony, balance, and inner peace while renewing my process of discovery by creating a holistic healing coaching program. Dealing with the effects of trauma, betrayal, and breakups from those who tried to help me but really did not know how to begin to help me to heal from the inside out. In addition, these are the persons who perpetrated the actions upon me. This not blaming but an unawareness on my behalf. I learned, there are two different systems when seeking support for trauma, betrayal, and breakup healing. I learned there are Salutogenic and Pathogenic Assumptions, in my research. What makes this hard for me to grasp, is the pathogenic outlook only recognized the physical component(the body), and the Salutogenic outlook focuses on the whole person ( mind, body, and spirit). I had no idea, how I was going to connect the “dots of life” to the next “dot of life” to get to the next “silhouette” of my life. The struggle of hanging onto an intentional state in a task performance process and recognizing how any type of pressure hits hard and throws me off the grid of “life” that spins my inner self, out of control, mentally, physically, and spiritually. This experience of rebuilding the personal parts has been the focus of being able to stay in this EPM program. My pathway through any new assignment must be broken down into many trivial parts into even minuscule parts for me to be able to needle together a foundation of understanding of a signal thought that will not overload my brain circuit without falling apart personally which will affect my professional vocation, that I am currently in transformation. My thought of building a program, I wanted to share with others how this process helped me to rebuild from a personal post-trauma mindset. The process does work with the framework as process building blocks of mending shattered parts of self. I feel like the little train going up the steep mountain, I can, I can, I can… I did, I did, I did… however the reframing of trusting the cycle in my professional arena has just begun. I changed the name of my lunched program to “Healing from Trauma, Betrayal, and Breakups. On the Eventbrite site, I received 42 hits for the workshop, however on that day only 6 participants attended, and I did not make a sale. I am very disappointed in my results. The workshop took place on 22 Jan 22, on Eventbrite from 1-2:30 pm, click on this link (1). it will take you to my organizational page https://www.eventbrite.com/o/esteemed-knack-llc-holistic-coaching-organization-37446351343 ,(2). Stroll down the page until you see “events” click on past 1, a drop-down info with “healing from trauma, betrayal, and breakups will appear, click on that. (3) it will take you to another page, look in the upper right corner, you will see “view detail” in blue letters, click on it. The link will take you to the closed event. What I learned about myself is even though, I had started with rebuilding my personal self; my professional self is pretty much shattered in areas not addressed on the personal sense of self. I am not giving up however I am so angry that I must… rebuild shattered parts of my inner self. I must turn this anger into a positive for inner peace, harmony, and balance. I am so appreciative of this EPM program and Coach Lucas’s role in helping me to reconnect my ideas linked to sharing with others who experienced trauma in their life, too. Sylvia
