I think I shared the wrong story in the wrong part by the way. I will share both here. I wanted to start a side business where I could make some money to help with expenses and debt and give my family some financial freedom. I had taken many programs and classes from many people, but usually give up before I complete. I heard Marisa and I felt that her message was different. She seemed to be speaking directly to me as a lot of the difficulties in completing and succeeding in these past trainings/workshops, she seemed to understand why I had struggled and told me it would be different in her program. She was right, it was different. Between the fact that the program forces you to learn and then take action before moving on to the next lesson helped me hold myself accountable and complete the program. The coaching calls weekly also were a big part of this, as well as the milestones. I joined EPM MVP Launch and learned so much about myself and how I sabotage my own success and also learned some many business and marketing skills from Marisa. The program is unlike any that I have taken before. It is way more knowledgeable than any college class that I have taken or any other program I have purchased. I completed all of the first three modules and launched my product. I even was able to get one conversation that went through the closing asking for the sale. I did not make the sale, but they are thinking about it and I got that first attempt under my belt and now have the skills necessary to move on.
I was struggling with what I could do for a side business to make extra money and I wasn't sure what to do as I had taken many classes and followed many people in regards to blogging, writing for a living, starting my own e-commerce store, but nothing seemed to be working. Then I came upon some information about Marisa's program MVP . It sounded different and unique. She didn't sound like she was trying to sell you on a make believe fantasy, but instead wanted to show you real business and marketing strategies that could help you launch your own business by selling a product that you create. I really struggled with my decision to join as it seemed like a lot of hard earned money and I have been disappointed so many times in the past. I also have a hard time completing programs I start because it becomes too challenging, time-consuming, or I just lose interest. I thought the accountability might help me more with this program and I was right. I just completed the first three modules and made my first closing pitch. I am still waiting on my first sale, but I have learned so much in the 12 weeks of the program. More importantly, I can continue to keep learning as I have lifetime access to all of the modules, including the two I still need to complete. Marisa knows a lot about business, marketing, and is very creative and inspiring. I learned a lot about business and marketing, but I also learned a lot about myself and my own thoughts and behaviors that I allow to sabotage my success every time. I didn't always have time to participate in all of the Mondays with Marisa or the Get it Done Fridays, but I found the Coaching calls to be very helpful and helped to keep me on track to Mission Accomplished. I also two a couple of the marathon Coaching calls with Marissa and these were so beneficial. Now that I have completed the program, I will continue to learn by watching the modules from Module 4 and 5, attend Live Your Message Live in March, and continue to chatterbox and market my coaching/training on Creating Resilient Kids. More importantly, even if this idea does not take off in sales. I now have the skills and knowledge to use to create any future products that my brain can dream up, and that gives me hope that I will make all my dreams come true.
