Nahil Ali Memon

So I started EPM on a blank slate. I didn't have a product, business, or even an idea of what to do. EPM had such a solid framework and as a result, I was able to develop what feels like a very strong, unique idea that people are actually finding interesting. And, like, develop the idea to the extent that it feel quite polished (even if there's still a long way to go to hone it), and very fleshed out.

Even though I wasn't able to reach mission accomplished, or even make a sale, I've grown so much during EPM. For example, I've gotten more comfortable speaking with strangers - and I am one very excessively shy person, mind you.

It's also caused me to want to consider pursuing a Masters of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology or working for an educational technology startup. I feel like new doors are opening that I hadn't seen before.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The value of community and of having a solid framework to follow.

How did EPM help you become successful?
"EPM forced me to talk to people. I am so excessively shy and seriously, the chatterboxing, has made me probably beat any all-time record I've had of how much I've spoken in one day and how many new people I've spoken to in one day. And that in turn has helped me to get more comfortable with putting myself out into the world, speaking to new people, and even making new friends online.

In addition to this, if I ever decide to become a teacher or work in a company that has something even remotely related to what I've come up with for EPM, this'll serve as something I can add to my portfolio.
Finally, I feel so much more confident of who I am. I don't need a PhD to prove to the world that my ideas are worth it. "

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel more comfortable talking to strangers now and I feel like EPM has helped me to learn to be more independent without forcing it. It's also just made me feel happier because now I have a few ideas of courses or products that I can make which feels so very me and also feels like something that some kid out there needs. So now I feel like I can do something meaningful and spark hope and joy in other people's lives.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I didn't have a business before I started EPM. So the biggest change would be having an idea to start making a business and also the confidence that I can make a business. I've always been too scared of the idea before.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can create very fleshed out ideas and validate them properly without building anything just yet. And I can actually convince people that there is value in what I have to offer to the world.
