"EPM gave me the tools and the confidence to launch a course I have been thinking about for years"I am so incredibly pleased with all that I have learned and achieved through the EPM program. I have wanted to build a course and membership site for job seekers for many years, and was just never able to make it a priority.
EPM provided the perfect combination of carrot and stick to keep me working. There was so much coaching and support available and a plethora of resources and templates to work with. There were people everywhere telling me I was good enough and smart enough and that I could do this. But - they also didn't let me stop. They didn't let me give up when I was frustrated. They kept pushing me to do better and do more.
I have not yet achieved Mission Accomplished, but since an unforseen barrier meant I had to delay course launch by a week, I still have 7 days to do so, and I have myself and sever partners out there pushing my course to make it happen.
What I have achieved is a better knowledge and understanding of what I am capable of. I have huge plans for not just the next iteration of this course, but for the next course, and the one after that. You may have created a monster (but a cuddly, fuzzy, Grover-like monster.)
What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Start small. Iterate your way to awesome. :)
How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM gave me the tools and the confidence to launch a course I have been thinking about for years. I did not launch the full course, as it would have been too big for my first Experience Product and the 12 week period - my original plan was interviewing as one module of a larger job search support course / membership site.
How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
"I think it may be too early to see a life impact. But the course has impacted my confidence and the way I will approach new business products. I expect to launch more courses in the future, and to iterate my way up to the full job search support membership site I originally envisioned.
As a writer and coach, I have limited time. I work with a demographic that can only pay so much - and that is by choice. I don't want to work with executives. Thus, the best way to expand my income is by diverting some coaching clients into a series of courses instead, and raise my prices for one-on-one coaching. I now see myself as able to do that. "
What has been the biggest change in your business?
Putting myself out there with the Perfect Email Campaign reminded old clients that I was still here. I never really do email marketing. I am busy without it, and did not see why it would be worth the effort. But I easily made another $1000 just on job requests and referrals that came in reply to my email campaign. I will definitely be doing more email marketing in the future, now that I know how!
