2020 • Elderly Computer Skills Breakthrough System

I had taken a number of online marketing and product creation courses. When I heard about experiencifying I became super excited because I love learning and teaching. My first idea for a product was relapse prevention from substance abuse since that is a field I work in and am passionate about (and we are in an overdose crisis). About half way through I realized that I needed a break from what I was doing day to day and changed my product to 1:1 coaching to help simplify digital marketing since I have strong technical skills and like empowering others. I was having challenges coming up with an exact outcome and the structure (birds eye view) of how I would actually help people. At the very end of EPM I was talking to a potential client (Chatter-boxing) and was told that only the old people they knew were having difficulty adapting to online and that "they were hard to teach". I realized that I would love to help empower our wisdom keeper elderly people to gain confidence using computers and I could apply some break through learning principles initially discovered by a revolutionary teacher of foreign languages and adapt them to teaching elderly people. Since I had learned the process in EPM, I was able to go from concept to early product plan in three hours (while writing my graduation story). Of course there is more to do to complete the plan, but having the blueprint provided by EPM it will be a quick and enjoyable product journey. This last idea passes the "heart test" and it feels right.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Iterating to awesome, build offer first and the experience formula

How did EPM help you become successful?
I appreciate that Marisa provides concentrated wisdom that explains the why as well as the how. Somehow she still manages to keep it a minimal viable product. Through EPM I have the tools I have a solid foundation to improve marketing, branding and product creation. I will continue to use the tools/strategies to improve my skills and achieve outcomes that did not seem available before EPM.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
anti-perfectionist iterate your way to awesome is a mantra for life itself. It has become much easier to take action than it was in the past.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Learning the process of creating, designing and marketing an experience product. The mission and product name in this application were created from scratch in less than one hour. I love the fast product creation methods and will experiment with a few of them, now that EPM is over. Now I can have my clients co-create programs that are more focused, easier to create and have a proven demand before investing a lot of time and effort.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I have been receiving positive feedback on how I train. I naturally was doing a few things well. By experencifying my training using the core experiences it will take my student's enjoyment, engagement and results up a quantum level.
