"Don't give up even when your Mission Accomplished looks different than others""I loved the EPM class! Marisa and her team delivered everything she promised and more. At the beginning of class, I planned to create a new course on a different topic than the one I currently teach online. I knew was leaning toward retirement and wanted to do something new. Although I am an experienced course creator, I struggled with settling into a new niche that felt authentic and joyful enough for me to commit to. Without that focus, everything seemed to get in the way. I found myself immersed in time consuming family issues. After false starts in two different mega-niches, I finally joined a few Facebook groups in the niche I already serve. This opened my eyes to opportunities that I did not see before.
One day after meditation, I realized that I had made this whole process unnecessarily difficult. I already have everything I need. I simply needed to “experiencify” my existing courses to become the industry leader that I am meant to be. Since that moment of clarity, I have used Marisa’s EPM system in several ways:
• I added easy wins to my existing courses to keep students motivated to keep going
• I celebrate their milestones with clapping or other sound effects that play over my voice
• I remind participants of how far they have come and to reach out to me for help at the places where many people feel stuck
• I added more personal touches to my onboarding process
• I repurposed my old content and added additional bonuses
• I created a new YouTube video to explain the difference between the training options offered
The biggest point of clarity came from reading the EPM Facebook posts. I realized I had made the same issues as others and could benefit from rebranding my suite of courses. I am so excited to launch my new brand this year.
I am thankful for the gentle nudges from the EPM team. It kept me going when I felt like giving up again and again. It’s been a long journey in EPM yet so worthwhile!
