While chatterboxing for the course I also signed up a new 1:1 client, and opened another opportunity—I now have a regular “corner” in a series of Zoom lectures about caring for aging parents. I open every meeting with “3 minutes on Independence through Technology”.
I crossed my minimum goal!

The back story?
2 weeks after EPM ended I pivoted and created a different course, to ""give them what they want"".
It took one focused day to go through and fill up a milestones doc top to bottom for the new course. Name, mission, bird’s eye view, the works!
Then I called back everyone that said — “what you do is amazing! But this course is not what I want now, I first need 1-2-3-4” ....and said hey, I have this other course that has what you were looking for. Are you interested?
(The same 5 things repeated, and became the 5 modules of the new course)
Now I focus on building the course on Xperiencify, and delivering!
I'm grateful for this course, the coaches, the camaraderie, and the experience of new possibilities opening up!
The Connected Senior is a name I came up with during EPM.
I bought the domain, and Website ATM, and in parallel with EPM built a website TheConnectedSenior.com.

I was working on a program to bring computer awareness and skills to senior living facilities in parallel to working as a software engineer when the pandemic started. Senior living facilities became unreachable, and the company I worked for folded almost at the same time.
I realized I needed to go online, and was researching online programs when I found Marisa. After a 3 day seminar I joined EPM. I expected to learn to create a fun type of online program, and was pleasantly surprised to get much more… A real starting point for turning what was a side income and a passion to a business. It was a shift in my thinking. After listening to Eben (which Marisa introduced me to) I realized that I’m a coach (I had been, without having a name for it) and that I needed a coaching/call me website. I now have a clear niche, a website, an online course, budding marketing skills, and confidence I can iterate my way to awesome.
