Maria's style of incrementally making decisions really aligned with me. But even as I stepped through every assignment and was happy with the output, I think I was still expecting magic to just ""happen"" without me having to really put myself out there and bring the energy of ""This is a life opportunity not to be missed!"" even though that is how I felt about my Product. I still had some insecure leftovers to clear out, and the only way through is THROUGH. Through the fear. Through the insecure chatter. Through the interval blocks.
I created my pages and launched my email campaign... No bites. I could feel how I was laying my self-worth on the success of this outcome. I knew I needed to shift my mindset. So I meditated on it for a couple days.
Then, I had an intuitive hit that I should be more proactive in CHOOSING who will be in this first beta course rather than leaving it to be ""randomly"" formed. (And to disconnect my value to any outcome).
I made a list of people who fit the energy and vision of what I'm looking for in this beta - people who speak the woo-language, who are emotionally articulate, and who won't just tell me what I want to hear.
I reached out to each of them separately with a private message and had many calls/exchanges today to explain the course and how I hoped they would choose to be a part of this with me, to help shape what it will become.

I was clear that I was asking for an ""exchange"" in the transaction, but that it didn't have to be cash monies if we could find a meaningful professional swap.
Of the 10 people I reached out to, I have heard back from 8 of them. And they are all yesses. At least 2 of them will be paying the beta price. The others will likely be exchanges (marketing help, someone who is going to create all of my worksheets for the course as we create them, and others...).
This created an inner momentum and a shift in mindset for me.

Which means I've officially reached MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! In a single day.
I suppose one could make the argument that the offer of the professional exchange is a factor here, but it really felt like it was the personal effort and interaction that made the difference. A couple of them mentioned that they'd seen my invitations and wanted to pull the trigger but they felt stuck on making a decision, or that they had become distracted by other things - so my personal message tipped the scales.
A lot of what Marisa talks about was confirmed by this experience today...
I know there is still a lot to learn, but I am certainly thrilled with today's results!
