2020 • The Beautiful Way to True Happiness
"I no longer have "imposter syndrome." I no longer undervalue myself or the value of what I provide."

"After nearly forty-five years as a faithful Catholic wife, I found myself navigating the dark night of divorce. Through that process, I discovered that divorce support for Catholic women (and Christian women in general) is hard to find and often doesn’t adequately address the real obstacles that prevent women from healing after the collapse of the marriage they held sacred.

My own experience led me to seek to become a voice in the Church to bring attention to the need for healing ministry to a significant number of people both in and no longer in the pews. I spent a year and a half writing a book, You Are Still Beloved: When Your Long-Term Marriage Ends in Divorce, published in June 2020, and was invited to speak at the After Divorce Online Conference last October.

After reading my book, several people suggested I become a coach so I could help women directly. I knew I could expand on what I’d already written and create a signature coaching program, but it looked like a daunting task. I became certified as a coach, but how would I ever create the online course I envisioned?

That old proverb, “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear,” proved to be true. A friend invited me to watch Marisa Murgatroyd’s webinar, “The Experience Product Blueprint,” and I was blown away! This was exactly what I was looking for!

I signed up for the Experience Product Masterclass right away and haven’t looked back since!

I thought I’d just learn the mechanics of course creation, but EPM is way more than that! The Experience Product Masterclass is the most comprehensive, value-packed course I’ve taken in my seventeen years of entrepreneurship. It connects all the pieces, helping me define my niche and target market, clarify my mission and message, and determine the best ways to locate and interact with my prospective clients. (I’m using present tense because I’ll continue to refer back to EPM as I move forward with my business.)

There’s a lot of material in the basic course, but I worked to complete it along with most of the Overachiever Track, and though the course is officially ending, I’ll continue to make use of my lifetime access. The Jump Contest was a good incentive for me to catch up, and I wear my t-shirt with pride. ????

The weekly coaching sessions with Marisa were great opportunities to learn through “side-door coaching,” and Coach Matthew helped me a lot with mission and messaging. The tech sessions with Coaches Matthew and Emily gave very practical solutions that require little to no expense or technical expertise (plus they made learning fun!).

What can I say about Xperiencify? I’m so excited to have this platform to host my course! It’s a dream come true—to be able to engage my students at a deep level that will help them in their journey of transformation and healing and give them wins and celebrations all along the way. I truly feel this is God’s hand at work to bring this together. Thank you, Murray and team, for all your hard work and for providing such clear user instructions. (Thanks, Laura and Rachel, for the deep-dive set-up sessions! Very helpful!)

And thank you, Marisa, for giving your whole self to our success. I learned so much watching you wordsmith mission statements and clarify muddled messages for hours, all the while keeping hundreds of us engaged and forming us into a community. The way you interacted with the rare person who chose to be negative and how you turned that into a lesson about communication styles is just one example of the wisdom you offer your students. It’s obvious you aren’t a guru personality driven by ego. You’re genuine and authentic and occasionally vulnerable, and that’s what makes you so effective. That and the fact that you’re a marketing genius!

I didn’t make Mission Accomplished, but that’s my choice. I’m in for the long haul, and I’m just getting started! I’m confident and excited to wake up every day to “Live My Message” as I implement everything I’ve learned in EPM!"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The Experience Product Masterclass synthesized all the bits and pieces I've picked up (and usually dropped) in other courses. EPM pulls it all together so market, mission, messaging, and marketing mechanics all make sense now. I finally see the whole picture. What a relief!

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM provides a clear roadmap to success. All I need to do is implement what I've learned, and I know I have the tools to succeed beyond my wildest dreams. Financial success is no longer an unattainable goal but the sure result of following the systems and processes laid out in EPM. This isn't "get rich quick." I feel as if I'm graduating with an MBA. I'm prepared and won't stop moving forward.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I no longer have "imposter syndrome." I no longer undervalue myself or the value of what I provide. In the past, I've always felt I couldn't charge people what my time or services were worth, and I made poor business decisions because of that limiting belief. Through EPM, I've released that belief, and I'm moving ahead with an entirely new mindset.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
It's gone from a vague dream to a business with a clear mission and vision and a way to get there.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can directly impact women who are hurting even years after their divorce and help them move forward with confidence, clear vision, and a road map for the future. This product provides a way for me to scale that impact without limits by expanding as my coaching business grows. At first, I'll use it as part of a one-to-few coaching program, but eventually, I will also market the online course as a standalone option.
