"I achieved mission accomplished and made $4,185. More than my goal!"I was looking for ways to share my skills and diversify my revenue sources. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and coaching other people in design methods and I’ve tried approaching a few organizations to share my skills and teach workshops for free but they all rejected me. When I joined Experience Product Masterclass 2020, I was ready to start my own course. EPM helped me to get really laser focus on my mission. I was able to follow an organized curriculum that helped me get the information when I needed it, instead of scrambling through books, podcasts, blogs or other things on the internet. The milestones document also helped me to put the theories I learned into practice and I love that I got feedback from my coach so I could improve and make it better. Without this milestone document, I know that I would not put anything into practice. I also found it really beneficial to attend weekly coaching calls with coach Debra to get help and ideas when I felt stuck and to receive the mental support to keep going. The community also helped me to be accountable to myself and each other. I achieved mission accomplished and made $4,185. More than my goal!
What specifically did you do to experiencify your program? Give us an example of a core experience you implemented in your product.
"- I'm creating a milestone document for everyone to add their exercises and "digital stars", to create constant wins.
- I'm also going to speak to their hearts not just to their heads.
- I communicate the benefits/ future self for each module to the participants.
- I provide a bird-eye's view of the masterclass using a simple diagram as my signature framework.
- I create a scale (1 to 10) survey for participants to fill in (at the beginning and end of the masterclass) so they know when they achieve mission accomplished and create a feedback loop.
- I will share failure stories to normalize challenges.
- I sent out a survey to ask participants to share their reasons to join the masterclass as a feedback loop.
- I created a Slack group as a way to build a community."
