Even though I did not accomplish my $2000 mission, I have gained a lot of gems of information around creating an experience product. The EPM program has taught me that consistency and focus are important to accomplish success. My EPM product is currently not for sale, but with the one sale I had, I have decided to pivot my approach to marketing my product so that I can meet my ideal clients one more step closer to saying yes to a better version, more 1:1 support, and at a higher price point.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Be focused and consistent.

I have a proven series of writing workshops and was looking for the right online platform. I wasn't convinced by other platforms I had looked at, but with Xperiencify it was a case of knowing what I was looking for when I saw it. The business coaching and technical assistance that were part of the Experience Product Masterclass were also extremely valuable. I have successfully launched a beta group to work out the best way to translate my workshops into an online format.

Graduation: Shortly after embarking on my entrepreneur journey, I was introduced to Marisa's Experience program masterclass. It opened up a chapter in my life knowing that I can create something that will help people who needs my help. EPM taught me a lot of things about letting go of the little perfectionist in me and just iterate my way to awesome. Although I haven't reached awesomeness, I know I will get there someday.

"I was having problems getting my business to grow as I have expanded my focus and also with the pandemic, I felt lost at marketing as I previously had my business all from referrals and in-person sessions. I was rapidly getting discouraged and feeling stressed financially, and in my business. I joined EPM and learned that I was using outdated ideas and processes for the ones I had, and that I had many gaps in my business and marketing processes, and that my delivery was not future proofed. I learned every single thing I could, and it was really hard to get over my previous desire for perfection in what I was doing, and my lack of marketing knowledge, and basically new everything. This led to new clarity on my niche and and new courage to take each step 'for now' and not be perfect, basically a huge leap out of my comfort zone. The hardest one was chatterboxing, and even though I have social media interaction, it wasn't chatterboxing and was not specific enough to sell. It ended up in a three strategy calls in the the last week from my doing my video, with one selling a program on a payment program.

The goal is to paint a quick before/after picture that shows your story of transformation. Ideally this picture includes:

• My biggest change is that I went from old systems that did not generate income, unfinished website, old style program delivery, old style marketing, and incomplete business systems to selling my program in the last week. I have felt stuck, and have taken many, many other business programs and worked with business coaches for years, and the entire time I have been in business which is over 20 years with the last 1.5 years being very stuck, to being proud of my business and its systems for the first time ever which I accomplished in this 10 weeks.

• I went from not even knowing how to do chatterboxing, and taking hours to think of who to contact, and literally being exhausted from a few hours of overthinking it to now doing a video in just a few hours, and to having created 2 funnels and having used 4 campaigns and feeling ease and enthusiasm at contacting a million people if it turns out that way to be sure I reach the client who is looking for me.

• I really drilled down on my mission statement which I never had before, and had over 50 emails and questions to my coach on clarifying it, not counting the questions to other people in my circle. I changed from serious game-changer to enthusiastic game changer, and I also changed from knowing that I will be even more successful as I overcome any other obstacle. I went from zero chatterboxing to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Messenger messages and video all in one day. I am in Personal Development and am developing 1:few in a bigger way and then am taking my big coaching program and making it 1:few with the assistance of experiencify. I am totally stoked to put my 12 session transformation and career development programs on Experiencify.

• I now feel like a proud business owner, and that my business has an important role in me fulfilling my purpose, and I now feel that every day is a brand new day and something greater and wonderful is coming my way, and I also feel like when something comes up, I used to notice although I did it, I still had anxiety. Now I feel like everything is possible, and I am so very grateful for the step by step tools that helped me walk through the areas I was not certain in, and the step by step scripts, as it used to take my hours and hours to write crappy copywriting. Now, it takes me way less time, the content quality is wayy better and I'm excited to put it out. I am excited and unstoppable in putting my message out to as many people as possible, whereas before I was holding back on putting my message out.

Trudy Johnson (class of 2020)

"I am graduating with 140 XP and 56 XXXP, but I have yet to launch my product. Though, I am getting close. In fact, I hope to start my launch in the next two days before I leave for an 8-day trip to Ohio to pack up my dad's and stepmom's home, put it all in PODS, and then bring them back to Texas. Fingers crossed. I have many reasons why I haven't been able to keep up with the pace of EPM, but suffice it to say that I've had a lot on my plate and I'm doing the best I can.
I've had to come to terms with the fact that, despite being extremely disappointed that I couldn't hit the Mission Accomplished button by the program's deadline, I still have a great product I am creating and all the knowledge and tools necessary to make $2,000 and likely so much more!
Having this knowledge and excitement for what the future will bring is my win today because I haven't been able to figure out how to do that for the past 7 years.
I wasn't even looking for a course to help me create a product when I happened to be introduced to Marisa and the Experience Product Masterclass. But, after hearing her message, I couldn't help but step out on faith, slap the $2,000 on a credit card, and jump in with both feet.
And I am so glad I did. I've always wanted to create a course and teach online, but I didn't know how to make it happen! I had so many ideas and a vision, plus some success as an individual life coach, but I wasn't clear about what and who, and how.
I've spent the last 14 years raising my second set of kids and working part-time as an administrative assistant, while also slowly building a website and coaching practice. But, the truth is, I have not made any real money to speak of. I felt that the best way to leverage my time would be to create a course and teach what I know online. I was observing and admiring others and was determined to figure out it, but it wasn't until Jon Morrow introduced me to Marisa that I realized there was actually something out there that would not only show me how but give me the confidence and know-how to actually get it done.
While I have yet to succeed in this endeavor, I feel confident in all the efforts I am making. Honestly, I don't think I would have put up $2,000 I didn't have without the money-back guarantee. But, I am happy to report that I was only a few weeks into the program when I realized that I didn't want my money back. Even though I haven't reached the mission of the program yet, I feel confident that I will make so much more by implementing all the training and ""iterating my way to awesome.""
So, my success has been to break through barriers, get clarity, and see first-hand how a quality course can be presented. I am grateful for all the ways that Marisa models for us how to create, market, and present a compelling message that changes lives!"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"I think my biggest takeaway is that I've stopped thinking everything has to be perfect. I don't even have my first module recorded (so may have to resort to my second choice of delivering training live, instead of recording it with slides, like Marisa), and that would have been an absolute no-go for me even just a few weeks ago. So, being willing to move forward with the process anyway, recognizing I often do my best work under pressure, is a huge breakthrough for me.
My second biggest takeaway is that I went from wondering if I could sell a course for $47-97 to believing I can (and should) sell my course for up to $497. And maybe later, when I have achieved some success, I'll be more comfortable charging $997 or more."

How did EPM help you become successful?
"First, it helped me to choose an audience, learn how to find and survey them, then get clear about what their challenges are and how to help them.
Second, I learned the order and structure for creating a quality course.
Third, the technology training and resources have been super helpful as there are so many options available. I like Xperiencify, as well. (Though it has been soooo time-consuming to put it all together.)
Fourth, knowing the formula to get clients and market a product has been instructive.
And, finally, just observing how EPM is structured, delivered, and presented provides a great model to pattern after. "

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
"I feel so much more confident in myself ... that I have a message worthy of sharing, that there is a tribe out there that needs my message, and that it doesn't have to be perfect. I just have to put myself out there so that those who need my message can find me. That was a huge barrier before.
Once I am actually making money (and I expect this to happen in February), and can then repeat the process again and again, it will help in supporting my kids in college, meeting some family needs, and creating an extra stream of income that we haven't had, which will help us prepare for retirement. (My husband lost his job and couldn't find work for a year, so we had to use a good portion of our retirement money. I haven't felt secure since.) I feel like this is the key to finding both relief and security for our future. "

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Well, when I actually make $2,000 or more (as I expect to), that will be the biggest change. I haven't made $2,000 a year in my coaching business. And, I will have a legitimate online course that I didn't have before.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
"It is possible to realize my vision of having multiple online courses for sale. I'd eventually like them to be evergreen, but for now, I think adding the group coaching component as well as an interactive masterclass is ideal.
I don't actually have much interest in becoming well-known or growing my business to be huge and employing lots of people. I just want to connect with the people who need my message and help change lives and make a good living in the process. That hasn't happened yet, but now I believe it can and will!"

Linda Slater (class of 2020)

I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer after starting my dream business. I wasn't sure how I was going to handle Chemo and run a successful business.I was scared and didn't know what to do, where to turn. I joined EPM and I realized I could learn how to stay calm and work on my overwhelm so that I did not react to my circumstances. I developed a 5 step process that I could use anytime I felt overwhelmed, to switch my mind and body instantly over to a calmer state. While Chemo was not fun, learning how to manage stress and overwhelm during this time helped me make it through, and now I want to teach others my 5 step formula that helped me survive this illness.

"I had a massive unexpected change in my life that, at the time, I wasn't sure I'd ever recover from. The event was so excruciating that my mind still won't allow me to remember it. However, I can feel twinges of pain/hurt/betrayal, but I don't actually remember the first time my partner/best friend said he was leaving after 20 years together. ???? ?

Weeks later, after I moved out, after I could breathe & (kinda) function again, I realized I had two choices: ?

1) become a bitter, angry, middle-aged woman spewing hate & negativity, or 2) be thankful for the time & log the many happy moments we shared over 20 years. ?

I chose to look back at our time together through a lens of love ???? I made the conscious decision to be thankful for this change. I heard my soul's calling--to give strength & be of service to other women in need. So, I made a massive pivot and knew I need to birth an empowerment coaching business, Lens of Love Life yet I wasn’t sure how to deliver.

I wasn't sure how to tell my story, I wasn't sure I was ""good enough"" to be a teacher yet I knew in my soul that I didn't want others to stay in suffering while I had the keys to unlock the door to a brighter future. I am incredibly thankful for Marissa and the entire EPM team as I was given the training I needed to break through and make a difference. I have not launched my course yet I am have scheduled time to go live to do some practice training (starting February 6) so I may launch and deliver my first official Lens of Love Life course on February 28, 2020.

With EPM I know that I am blessed to share the blueprint and lifelong learned strategies of consciously creating and leading a happy, healthy & abundant life. Life is too short to be bitter. With me sharing my experiences and coaching woman they will know they have someone in their corner, someone who understands, someone who will not judge, and most importantly, someone who can show them the path to a bright, exciting future in which they are the creator. SIMILAR TO WHAT THE EPM TEAM DID FOR ME!!

Again, thank you Marissa & team for your support and love!!

Tricia Snell (class of 2020)

"Wow... seriously Marisa, you gave me the kick in the backside that I've been looking for.

I've wanted to create my signature health & wellness series for more than 10-years. While I've done some work and taken many baby steps to achieving this over that time, in comparison to what I've achieved since starting and graduating from EPM, my initial work looks like a grain of sand that is now situated on an Experience Product beach.

Sure... I've still got work to do. But, I'll always have work to do because the reality is this is just the start of the empire I'm about to build. "

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
"Let's Do This."

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM helped me to look critically at my existing ideas (which I like to call the pieces of my puzzle) so that I put my thinking cap on and brought all of these ideas together. Effectually meaning that I was able to fit each piece of my puzzle together and complete my picture. On my scale of success that's MONUMENTAL because I didn't just have 'a light bulb moment', there were literally hundreds of these, so many I felt like a Hollywood star in front of Paparazzi.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
My vision for the future is my husband and I transitioning from the owners of a brick and mortar business that ties us to a traditional 'work far too many hours with little recreational time' lifestyle to the 21st Century 'work less and play more' lifestyle, which EPM has helped us move closer to in a matter of months.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
My biggest business change is actually taking my ideas and breathing life into them so that they've become a reality. I cannot thank you enough!

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I've created the blueprint for a signature series by creating my Experience Product. This series is the basis of my empire that will continue to grow over the coming months and years as I improve upon my initial product and add others for many years to come.

"Since I was a teenager and become Scandinavian Champion in synchronized swimming, I’ve always been interested in how to optimize performance.
Later as a mother of two young children working full time with my in-laws battling cancer, I lived with a lot of stress and felt I was coming down with a cold each time I worked out.
The Upgrade Your Lifestyle program is based on my personal journey, becoming a USANA Health Science associate and seeing my health turned around, learnings during the last 15 years, fitness experimentations, and conversations with a group of ladies during 2020 on how to improve your immune system.
After doing about 10 conversations about how to improve your immune system, I was thinking about creating an online course about it. Looked at several options Mastermind, Grace Lever, Amy Porterfield, and by chance got introduced to Live your message and Marisa by Josh Turner. Amazed by all the content, but sorry that I did a bit too much consuming, versus producing. After watching all videos and attending all the Zoom meetings, I was kind of out of time. I was so super excited about having Jennifer as my coach but didn’t ask the questions I’ve had all along until the last day. I guess a bit too late.
Anyway, I will keep the momentum which is higher now, and still finish what I set out to do. Cannot wait to let you know when I reach Mission Completed very soon.
Thank you for the amazing course and content! Looking forward to Live Your Message. Will now start inviting my friends!
All the best,
Agneta

Bettina Joy Beaucamp (class of 2020)

"I have been in business as a wholistic health practitioner and teacher for 35 years. I offer a combination of one-on-one sessions, live classes and a few online classes.

While my clients and students loved me, I never made anywhere near the money or had the number of students I wanted considering my efforts and dedication.

I have taken many marketing classes from well-known trainers like Brendon Buchard, Joe Vitale and Harv Eckart, as well as others less well known. I have learned a great deal from everyone I ever studied with, however Marisa and EMP supported me in making a gigantic leap with my business AND in my life. The structure and information of EPM cured me from my chronic “thud” effect illness, as well as the “guru on the mountain top” syndrome.

A LOT of unlearning to do and soo happy to do it!

The “experience” aspect of the masterclass was highly motivating, Marisa’s completely brilliant laser coaching had me in awe; she never skipped a beat no matter whether it was a student asking for help with a wildly alternative healing method or one who was supporting business executives.

The bite size training modules helped me stay on track, the leaderboards were an incentive, as were the “jump contests” – I am pretty competitive and accountability is a huge motivator for me!

Just before the Christmas break, I hit total overload and was freaked out about all the trainings that were released just before the break. I went into paralysis and wondered what in the world I was thinking to have signed up for this masterclass. I had been spending about 20 – 30 hours a week on trainings, implementation and course creation in addition to my “normal” life which is already very full. YIKES.

SOO glad for the Christmas break, or I would have crashed and burnt. By the time the New Year came around, I was able to come back and proceed at a more realistic pace.

The niche was easy. I was torn up about all the division I saw happening in the world due to politics and different points of view about health and the pandemic. So, my co-teacher and I titled our course: “The Courage to Stay Connected”, Healing the Damage of Division.

It was totally weird for me to create the mission statement and the bird’s eye view without having a course yet and I did have to make revisions to both once we started to develop more of our course materials.

Once we got to the marketing modules, I had to get serious about overcoming my resistance. I HATED chatterboxing, but I did it anyway and got better at it. I hate sales scripts and I did it anyway (though never totally adhered to them since I am so rebellious…)

I had to have a “real sale page” for me to feel like I could talk to people, so I got to work and created one that I am super proud of. All the work we had done in the weeks prior made it easy to create the content for the sales page. My co-teacher and I recorded the needed short intro video – whew, doing 5 minutes is soo much harder than 20 and we did it anyway.

Since I have done a lot of webinars, doing those was much easier than chatterboxing and we modeled our webinars after the enrollment script along with giving real value – it worked and we only spent a little over an hour both ties – YES! Honor ours and our students’ time. More is NOT better!!

We did an “im-perfect” email campaign to advertise our two free webinars as well as continue to advertise the course with additional emails until we will hit capacity which we had set at 20 people for this beta course.

Between chatterboxing, emails, the free webinars, we have enrolled 13 students as of today with several more interested and we still have 9 more days before we start our course on the 10th of Feb., so we may just hit our stretch goal of 5500 for this beta test.

Many things I said I wanted to do and have procrastinated on for YEARS, I did in 3 months – and then some!! What prior students said about EPM moving them forward more in a few weeks than they had gotten in years is SOOO true for me. I am soo grateful.

And honestly, if Marisa wasn’t as open hearted, authentic, funny, dedicated, clear, committed to social justice and able to support “weird” alternative visions, it would not have worked. Experiencifying courses is one thing. Feeling connected, seen and supported by a kindred spirit who values authenticity, accountability, and our “humanity” as I do, made all the difference. THANK you Marisa!

I am a recovering perfectionist and I needed to hear the phrase: “done is better than perfect” and “iterate your way to awesome” as many times as Marisa and Jennifer said them.

I love that I can use how EPM is set up and fell totally ok with being a copycat – no need to reinvent the wheel ????. It all makes sense, even though it was foreign to me at first. Being as brainy as I am, I can only learn and implement what makes sense to me.

I know that there is so much more for me to learn from the trainings in EPM and from some the overachiever track trainings that I have not had a chance to listen to yet. The implementation Fridays I did listen to were AMAZING and so helpful in getting me excited to try new things

Can’t wait for LYML and invited a bunch of friends and colleagues ????

Thank you MARISA, Jennifer, all the staff and coaches for making EPM such an incredible adventure and creating a spring board for my life as an effective course creator and a clearer, more confident and more focused human being!
World watch out, Bettina is finally launching!!!
