Roger L House (class of 2020)

"Coming into this program I challenged myself, as I was one of those coaches that looked at price before anything else. I knew it was wrong, but being homeless for over 15 years it was how I was programed. I also knew I was going to have a limited amount of time each week as I work 9 hour days and drive one hour each way giving me limited time to work on my program.
But being sick and tired of being sick and tire, I also knew I had to do something different. So I asked the question, ""What can I do to move forward?"" and found that EPM was a door that could help me. So I dove in. I took my time and really found ways I could study and learn and found that I achieved a shirt for being ahead of the majority of the group before break. WOW! That surprised me and kept me moving. During the holiday the woman I loved and lived with for over 6 years died December 18th which put me into a tailspin, but with the momentum I had and the mindset I keep working on I am getting caught up. I didn't meet my goal yet, but I know I will! In watching Lynn before she died, bring her song out to the world, she reminded me that life's too short to allow us to sit and wait! I'm going to get my song out for those that need it!"

"—MY MISSION ACCOMPLISHED STORY~~~~
????MY M A story does not have a straight line & involves varying formats of Speech & Communications training & coaching program that I effectively & successfully deliver....usually in person. And yes I have been one of those who did not necessarily want to do this online.

Lesson# 3 of EPM helped me confidently secure my 1st client back in October when we started. Reading and learning the rationale behind Product Pricing helped me to comfortably set my fees for 1-hr live weekly coaching over 12 weeks at $1247. The wow I delivered was to have the busy, overwhelmed client carve time for himself to become a more dynamic & effective speaker. I invited him to take time off to do what he really enjoyed- fishing! When next we met I had a less anxious, more alert, more engaged, happy student. The change was REMARKABLE - he FELT it too! #experience

As Marisa speaks of the WOW experience:

The second ‘wow’ was to surprise mail him a copy of the bestseller from a speaker he admires - Barack Obama - the book- A Promised Land. He has had to suspend his classes for health issues. He has now informed me he is up to Chapter 9 in reading the book - while in hospital! DOUBLE WOW EXPERIENCE!!! He wasn’t able to complete a simple assignment given him in previous weeks!!! Reading this book I incorporated in the assignments???? I had also mailed him colored markers to make notes and highlight new words he learnt to improve vocabulary.

Lesson on Future Self Vision ????I was able to use in 3 separate 1-hr training sessions to college bound students at $200 per session paid for by the coordinator of those programs in association with a university Trio program. I have formed a partnership with this coordinator who runs her own successful scholarship program for future training. I had this coordinator as I chatterboxed what I do at a business networking event.

In November I offered a session on successful
presentations via Eventbrite and got 7 quick signups. I used the mission statement in the copy and offered as a free session with intent to sell on a longer training. However persons did not respond to required intake forms to secure their spot in the training. I did learn that what I offered appealed to more than a few. I did not proceed with that offer.

ZOOM LEVEL UP???
Using the template shared by Coach Mike #eagles I emailed the current revised offer (mini-course of one of a longer term/higher price point) this past Thursday to at least 50 persons, shared on my Instagram and got two sign ups at $197. And also did this flyer attached using mission statement. See below??????

I made the 21-day offer (4-1hr live sessions) targeted to women who suffer from Zoom fatigue and how to give great energetic ????presentations on Zoom that doesn’t drain ????you or bore ????????your audience????????!
I shared with my network. I offered a 20% referral bonus. I made it a limited offer with registration ending January 31 and limited spacing using the lesson on urgency - “why I should buy now!”

The wow???? to be delivered will be online coupon for chocolate as the program begins on Feb 14 - Valentines Day ?? where I will invite participants to dress in their Valentine outfits ????- etc- 1st demo of how to have an exciting ????ZOOM PRESENTATION???????! If you know someone who would love to join this exciting experience do pass it on!

I will extend offer when I have reached at least 5 persons just to get the program running in the Xperiencify platform.

????????????????

I do wish I did have more time & space in my daily life to tackle more of this awesome EPM program- the 12-week program is doable when you have nothing else demanding your time and attention. I must say with the limited time & energy I had while in the program I am glad to experience the program and it is a timely one for my personal & business goals!

I can’t wait & look forward to offering higher priced products on this platform within the next 3 months using the techniques learnt in this program.

Helen C. Didier-Robinson (class of 2020)

"So, I did not hit mission accomplish! I have such a hard time asking for help, it’s sad! I missed the opportunity to experience that dopamine rush within the time frame allocated for this goal. Never-the-less, I am filled with admiration for my colleagues who actually grew the courage and fortitude to take that leap. Now they have experienced what it feels like to have achieved something so empowering, something that they have been longing for, some for years, and I can just imagine how great that feels! My soul truly rejoices for them.
EPM has been one of my greatest learning experiences and you - Marisa Murgatroyd are one of my most treasured Mentors. For that, I am eternally grateful! You and your team are awesome!
I had the opportunity to observe from the comfort of my home two protagonists in this 12-week experience – YOU & I. I watched you making informed decisions, taking strategic action, and passionately delivering your creation as only a master can. As the captain of your formidable ship, you took command, expertly steering it and its crew safely and successfully through the stormy seas … and I marveled!
I, on the other hand, experienced numerous and priceless epiphanies; the kind that accompanies doing the necessary inner work needed to progress on this journey. I learned the meaning of “THE ONLY THING STOPPING YOU IS YOU” and “OVERTHINKING COMES OUT OF A NEED TO SEE THAT WHICH CANNOT BE SEEN! Yes, for me, shifting mindset while in the throes of my first real “Marketing Mind Fuck” was no fun and greatly slowed my momentum, but all is not lost! I now understand what it takes to “Iterate your Way to Awesome” in the process of creating my “Experience Product.”
I now take this experience with me and together with your comprehensive package of tools and resources for success, I continue relentlessly to iterate my way to awesome and accomplish my mission to launch my first experience product and hopefully many more to come. I will not stop until I reach mission accomplish!
Thank you, Marisa, My Wonderful Coach Samara, and the rest of the team at EPM. Looking forward to seeing you again in March at Live Your Message Live!"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

EPM gave me the knowledge and skills (Experience Formula) to create Experience Products. I have been empowered to not only create but to organize and document my product creation process which will help me scale my business all while I iterate my way to awesome.

Before EPM I could only imagine creating and marketing my on-line product. In just twelve short weeks I have not only created the blueprint for my product, I also tried out first hand three different marketing campaigns and I am preparing to launch my product.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I am an entrepreneur pivoting for 40 plus years pivoting from Beauty Therapy to a Health Coaching looking to begin my first online Coaching Business

Jennie Grant (class of 2020)

"2020 taught me that you can teach an old dog new tricks and EPM was no exception. With a background in teaching and writing, I was keen to know how to put a course online. I definitely learnt that.

I guess what I had underestimated was the intensity and volume, but I kept at it. Until my wheels fell off mid-January.

I'm really not the kind of girl to send my food back in a restaurant, but I do want to explain what happened--seeing you're asking. I'll do it as briefly, yet clearly, as I can.

Because I know you pay attention to your students' feedback in order to grow, I will write it, even though by owning my shit, it was me who set the towel aside (not throwing it in by any stretch). However ...

I've probably been tagged as the girl with her eye on the guarantee because I asked lots of questions about it. But when you offered it in the interview with Jon Morrow, it gave me a clear goal to strive for and less panic about maxxing out my credit card.

The teacher in me needed to be clear about the 'assessment criteria', so I knew I was doing everything possible to make that $2K (or more).

The difficulty was is my niche and finding the people. I really wish I had a more tangible thing to offer. I probably will work that out in the future.

Anyway, I sent out my freebie offer in as many FB groups I could, combined reaching nearly a million people. I also sent it to my FB acquaintances, not my friends because again, the teacher in me needed to at least have the first Module in--and a clearer idea of my content, so I could sell it with conviction.

The friends I did speak to about it agreed that my topic was perfectly me, though, because many of them have been asking me for years when I was going to write that book. I decided that revealing myself through the course material would be a better approach, and I still think that.

But the guarantee said I needed to have made my offer to at least 550 people. When I read it again, I figured you meant the full offer, not the freebie. And seeing I had only 3 viable emails in my list, I knew that goal was impossible in the timeframe. That really deflated me, but I emailed support to check.

The answer came back about 5 days later that no, that wasn't the case, but by then I didn't have time to send out my email campaign with a day in between--and get the first materials ready.

Again, my tribe is part of the difficulty--if they are sad, they are not going to sign up to turn themselves around in two weeks' time. I needed to be prepared. At least way more than I was. I do understand the make it as you go approach because my 30+ years of teaching has taught me that if you over-prepare, most of it goes in the bin. That's what makes me a good teacher--I give them what they need most next.

Even with the almost impossible timeframe by the time I got the reply about the 550 people being just a guide not a stipulation, the documentation needed also made me despair because I didn't know how we could know click through rates when we had been told in a Friday call to just use our Gmail accounts and I'm pretty sure you can't get that info there.

Adding in all my questions about the % tracker which was doing weird things like sometimes being out of 533 points and then not again, and the fact it often wasn't moving, and the fact that my bonus page didn't have the Done For You button and I'd been asking about it for about a month before it was fixed, all made me doubt that bombarding my 3 sad ladies with emails and maybe getting a customer that I certainly could serve better if I had a bit of time to get it together a bit was a good idea. At all.

In a nutshell, I'd be satisfied if we met each other halfway on the guarantee. I would definitely recommend your course then--and have some room on my credit card to try this course again or another. I do understand it would be a tricky balance to be such a savvy business woman with such a big heart. "

Michelle Lohrli (class of 2020)

They all promised the same thing, one shiny object after another. After too many courses taken and thousands of dollars spent on the potential “This is The One Course” that can move the needle in my business, I finally nailed it. EPM has set the bar pretty high as far as online courses go.

I chanced upon Marisa in mid 2019. I attended one of her webinars, got as much of the free content as I could but didn’t bite the bullet then. I thought I could wing it and in the back of my mind, I wasn’t quite sure if my head was in the game. Fast-forward to a little over a year and a few thousand-dollar courses later, not to mention a raging global pandemic, I joined EPM. I have had enough of the start-and-stop vicious cycle and needed to get myself out of the rut I was in, not to mention earn back what I have spent so far. The difference was night and day.

EPM has made it clear right out of the gate that in order for one to be successful in the program, you have to do the work and show up. For the first time, I truly committed to show up. With the myriad of courses that I took before finding EPM, the instant excitement was palpable as I began, only to be smashed in the head with a wrecking ball midway because everything was just too much. With EPM, I watched every module as if I was watching a trending series on Netflix, absorbing all the lessons that made sense for my business idea. But more importantly, I took action. My coach helped me keep my messaging on point. My pod held me accountable. There was not an ounce of overwhelm and hearing those ka-chings and boom-chika-wow reiterated Marisa’s science-backed method. The dopamine rush is indeed addicting!

This entrepreneurial journey gave me the clarity I needed and the technical wheelhouse to complete the tasks. Was I pushed out of my comfort zone? Yes, a thousand times over! A great example is chatterboxing. I avoided it like a virus. In the early stages, I found COVID to be a convenient excuse and my inner imposter monster was so fierce it made me cower in fear. I think part of it is the self-doubt that my product isn’t good enough or it would be the same result as before. But I told myself that if I wanted to see something change in my business, I have to do something different this time. So I made a decision to show up and do the work.

Mindset can kill or break you but when it shifts to the other side, you soon realize that it is a superpower that will enable you to do great things. As a total newbie in my field where there are already several established pros, all I had going for me other than my skill, was the desire to solve a problem and deliver the experience the EPM way. So with each chatterboxing experience, armed with what I have learned, confidence emerged.

One lesson at a time, One client at a time. I am proud to say I have broken the “cursed course” cycle of unfinished programs because I am graduating!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
EPM has proven to me that the simplest systems can work if I do the work. I need to show up 100% if I want to see results.

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM has been a game-changer! The weekly coaching calls and the milestone document made me commit to being accountable. Seeing the deadline on paper created an urgency in me, and getting valuable feedback from my coach and the members of my pod kept my momentum going. These alone are worth the price of admission.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM has proven that mindset and being with like-minded people can move the needle in both my personal and business life. A supportive community, especially now, makes all the difference.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my business is finally having the clarity on how I want to deliver the service and go about implementing the thousand and one ideas in my head. Ideas are only valuable when it is implemented.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I now have a proven system that I can duplicate. The sky is the limit because I can confidently take an idea and turn it into a business and do it as many times as I want. In due time, I am also poised to transition this 1:1 service to 1:Few then 1:Many or create a complementary course down the road. With the knowledge in my back pocket, the sky is the limit!

Sandie Grindel (class of 2020)

I was relaunching my coaching, training and consulting business in the online world I wasn't sure of how to make the pivot to online so I joined EPM. I learned a ton of information about all aspects--more than I realized I needed to know but so glad EPM is comprehensive to give me more than what I knew I needed. I had four women join my Academy unfortunately one passed away unexpectedly. I also had one woman add on the accelerator of a coaching package so I earned a total of $6,082.

Troy St.Troix (pronounced TROY SAINT TROY) (class of 2020)

I had a lot of catching up to do over the past week and a half, however, I did graduate in the 11th hour, well surpassing the minimum required 123 XPs needed to do so.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
EPM is an AWESOME, yet "HUGE" undertaking, that I could not easily fully complete even just the "core-track" within the time frame within which I had to do so .. and I am someone who did not have the time to even ever make it onto the Facebook Group beyond joining it. It is awesome we have lifetime access to EPM training, as in that way I know it is eventually do-able, and I am going to have reached Mission Accomplished soon, by hell or by high water, as they say!

How did EPM help you become successful?
" EPM has prepared me for my ""eventual"" success in passing my finish line, and has and is continuing to be providing me on a ""coach-free"", non-supported basis, in perpetuity, with the most important, key data, the ""senior data"", contained within EPM Core and OverAchiever ""tracks"", which I can and will go back to repeatedly for reference, all Marisa's ""hard-won"" know-how!
"

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I am progressively getting closer and closer to launching my online experience product course!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Getting to having the conceptual understanding of what it takes to "experiencify" something, anything .. and looking at getting things done or re-done in an "experiencified" way.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
Feeling confident in creating and launching several Experience Product "experience courses"!

Iris Culp (class of 2020)

I have 5 outlined modules for my Xcelerate LinkedIn for Business and have done a "Give them What they Want" campaign (about to wrap up). Have a sales page completed and have talked to SO many people about the Xperencify software system, as I see it as a game changer for the online learning business in the future. I feel more confident and know I can return to worksheets anytime to refer, learn and continue to iterate my way to awesome. The biggest help to me in this program (there were so many) was the consistent reminders to resist perfection tendencies and know that done is better than perfect.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
To focus on outcomes for my clients, and not simply benefits and features. Clear road map on how to do that is my big takeaway.

How did EPM help you become successful?
Confidence, template, systems, practical "do it" strategies. It's SO well worth it -- the the 2k was a stretch for me completely to get that together.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
The mindmap and the outline has helped bring SO much greater clarity in how I work and function. The specific templates all throughout the program have been HUGE to bring clarity for me to organize my communication. Specifically the Framework exercise and then the Framework with benefits for my clients has been a gamechanger for me.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Primarily my confidence to speak about something before it's complete. And, it's so freeing!

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
A system to deliver courses through this process and framework. I see a way to scale.

Nahil Ali Memon (class of 2020)

So I started EPM on a blank slate. I didn't have a product, business, or even an idea of what to do. EPM had such a solid framework and as a result, I was able to develop what feels like a very strong, unique idea that people are actually finding interesting. And, like, develop the idea to the extent that it feel quite polished (even if there's still a long way to go to hone it), and very fleshed out.

Even though I wasn't able to reach mission accomplished, or even make a sale, I've grown so much during EPM. For example, I've gotten more comfortable speaking with strangers - and I am one very excessively shy person, mind you.

It's also caused me to want to consider pursuing a Masters of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology or working for an educational technology startup. I feel like new doors are opening that I hadn't seen before.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The value of community and of having a solid framework to follow.

How did EPM help you become successful?
"EPM forced me to talk to people. I am so excessively shy and seriously, the chatterboxing, has made me probably beat any all-time record I've had of how much I've spoken in one day and how many new people I've spoken to in one day. And that in turn has helped me to get more comfortable with putting myself out into the world, speaking to new people, and even making new friends online.

In addition to this, if I ever decide to become a teacher or work in a company that has something even remotely related to what I've come up with for EPM, this'll serve as something I can add to my portfolio.
Finally, I feel so much more confident of who I am. I don't need a PhD to prove to the world that my ideas are worth it. "

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I feel more comfortable talking to strangers now and I feel like EPM has helped me to learn to be more independent without forcing it. It's also just made me feel happier because now I have a few ideas of courses or products that I can make which feels so very me and also feels like something that some kid out there needs. So now I feel like I can do something meaningful and spark hope and joy in other people's lives.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I didn't have a business before I started EPM. So the biggest change would be having an idea to start making a business and also the confidence that I can make a business. I've always been too scared of the idea before.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I can create very fleshed out ideas and validate them properly without building anything just yet. And I can actually convince people that there is value in what I have to offer to the world.
