Helene Mearing (class of 2020)

"Ok, so technically I didn't hit Mission Accomplished... I did however achieve over 123 XPs.
In my mind and heart though, I know I have hit Mission Accomplished. I stuck to the training although at a slower pace. I can honestly say, this has been the most rewarding training I have experienced.
The results continue to emerge in organizing my thinking, seeing possibility and words... WOW, words, the power of words!
Could I say there was one major learning for me, no, the total course was brilliant, and Marissa, you are extraordinary.
There was however one major lesson that I clearly know now and can see why I have been stuck and not moving forward... that lesson- Too Many Masters. I now have that under control... it's called DELETE.
Marissa, Murray and Team from the bottom of my heart - Thank you.
Helene Mearing"

Barbara Vieira (class of 2020)

I started with no idea what I would sell and English is not my first language. Took me a while but it started to create some form and I started shaping my idea to what I have now. I basically listen to videos 2 or 3 times. I read the worksheets few times. It was a lot new as I never had a business, imagine an online business for someone that only uses email :). On top of that I need to create my trainings in other two languages and English, of course. I printed all worksheets, I answered the Google docs. I did the work.

My challenge after that was how to promote my product. I dont have any social media and my Facebook account was a friend who created but I never used. So for me I had the challenge on how to reach people that is on the opposite side of the world without social media. I started asking friends if they would have someone for me to Chatterbox or for the survey. It is slowly getting there.

But I listened....""keep moving...don't stop if is not perfect, or if its not the perfect idea or words""

I am really sad that I am not graduating with mission accomplished but I know that I have learned a lot. I will reach mission accomplished soon...I know that :)

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Even if it is not perfect, keep moving. Don't overthink.

How did EPM help you become successful?
Helped created an idea of my business, to shape it, to motivate me :)

I have a feeling that module 3 could be realised earlier. It is different for the 3 levels of people that enrol the course. I had no idea to what could be my business, no business experience and no online experience, so it was a lot to take in."

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
To have an online business that fulfils me. I can Live My Message.

Chris Brandlon (class of 2020)

"Things have moved a bit slower than I intended, but the pieces are coming together. I have navigated around restrictions on my social media access to develop an email campaign that will bring some initial sales, which I will then use to scale up with a paid traffic (YouTube) strategy.

I enjoyed the course, and the community around our #highvibehearts tribe. Since I'm not on Facebook, this was my only form of group support. Very valuable, not only for what I gained, but for the opportunity to contribute to the success of others.

With my Feb. launch, I do expect to reach my stretch goal of $8000 in sales. My target is 30 students for the beta round of course development, which will be hosted on Xperiencify. Right now, I'm testing content via onepagers with embedded videos, and email follow up. Step by step is the journey completed!"

How did EPM help you become successful?
Making the commitment to participate in EPM catalyzed a decision to persevere through whatever setbacks and challenges, to complete the creation and marketing of my experience product. I am 90% of the way there, and will continue until I succeed. This program has helped me to truly understand that "the obstacle is the way."

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I have gotten further than I ever have with bringing my ideas to fruition.

Brian Crouth (class of 2020)

"Right now, I am savoring and taking tremendous pride in the spectacular Accomplishment AND Achievement of overcoming despair and wanting to “throw in the towel” so many times,

but instead courageously embracing and taking on Challenge after Challenge, giving My All and My Very Best for Success in order to graduate with the EPM Class of 2020.

This marks an end of a chapter in my learning, course creation, and business journey, and also the beginning of the next chapter.

Mission Accomplished is still within my grasp between Feb 1 and “Live Your Message Live” in March where I intend to celebrate BOTH graduating and building a profitable business having hit my target of $2,000K or more in student enrollments.

Prior to our Oct kickoff, I had no business to speak of.

EPM has given me a proven model and path to create a profitable business again, and again, and again... that’s built around my talents and Self Expression to have a greater impact on the world by simply Being Me as a Creative, Coach, Writer, Sales Pro, Teacher & Poet.

The training modules provide the blueprint and the asset. Most invaluable was the 1:2:1 support from Coach Emily Fontes via my Milestone Doc, email, as well as Wisdom Weds Group Coaching.

I am also grateful to my faithful EPM Learning Partners throughout these past 14 weeks, and future ones to follow as we continue to support each other.

Marisa Murgatroyd’s Monday Millionaire Mindset Message, Laser Coaching, and Facebook Recordings to cheer us on are the True Dopamine Effect for EPM!

I REALLY STRETCHED myself beyond my limitations - some self-imposed, others not within my control - BUT NEVER GAVE UP right to the end.

I’d be not 100% truthful were I to say that I am not let down that for all my day, night, and late night/early AM sales efforts, I came up short.

The good news is “it ain’t over yet.”

In fact, it’s never over as the EPM asset and Journey is one of a Lifetime, so “Watch out World!”

See you all at Live Your Message Live where I’ll be celebrating Mission Accomplished along with you who already have, and the rest who just need some extra time like I do.

“It’s not if, but when.” Right?

“Don’t stop believing!”????"

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Never give up, never stop believing in myself or my Offer / Gift to the World.

How did EPM help you become successful?
"The training modules provide the blueprint and asset. Most invaluable was the 1:2:1 support from Coach Emily Fontes via my Milestone Doc and email as well as Wisdom Weds Group Coaching.

Marisa’s Monday Millionaire Mindset Message and Coaching / Facebook Regular Cheering Us On Recordings are true Dopamine Effect for EPM."

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
"I really stretched myself beyond my limitations - some self-imposed, others external - and never gave up right to the end.

I’d be disingenuous to say that I am not let down that for all my day, night, and late night/early AM sales efforts, I came up short.

See you all at Live Your Message Live when I’ll be celebrating Mission Accomplished. “Don’t stop believing!”"

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Prior to our Oct kickoff, I had no business to speak of. EPM has given me a business model that incorporates my gifts as a Coach, Writer, Teacher & Poet.

Bette Lamont (class of 2020)

"I have struggled with finding a way to market my work, which should be globally known, but is not yet in the mainstream. I signed up on a whim, thinking I had 7 hours a week of time to devote to a minimum product, but with my own sense of perfectionism just waiting in the wings to get triggered, I ended up spending sometimes more than 7 hours a day. But it has all been so worth it.

Before Covid started isolating us at home I had a business that included a lot of travel, to 3 countries, including many states in the U.S. When I was forced to stay home 70% of my business disappeared, because parents were not wanting to work with their children on Zoom. So I had to pivot and learn how to use the internet to get my word out to the world.

Not only have I learned how to put a course online in a way that will draw attention, I have actually DONE IT. I do not know yet if I will meet my stretch or target goals, since my deliver date is 6 days out, but I have met Mission Accomplished, and even have a group of 10 joining from 2,000 miles away! As hard as I have worked and as many questions I have had, I know it has been worth my time and as I again make another pivot in my work I am sure that LYM will be hearing from me again. "

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
That marketing is not a sleazy way to get someone to give you money, but rather a way to connect people who have needs with the resources that can meet that need.

How did EPM help you become successful?
This class has given me more exposure, and despite the fact that I am already confident in my work, EPM has given me greater confidence in MARKETING my work.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Well, for now I must admit I am still overwhelmed with the amount of information I have been asked to digest, but I have the materials available and I took what I needed for this current course, and will be reviewing the materials over the next year prior to making another big pivot after COVID has subsided. And I must admit, it kept me engaged over a dark winter in the planet's history. I can now tell the story of 'what I did over my COVID vacation"!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Visibility! In using the marketing technqiues that are advised by EPM I was able to reach clients whom I have not heard from in years, and supporters who have not known how to support me. One fabulous cultural influencer in a field related to mine put me on his Facebook page giving me exposure to 18,000 more potential clients. This is huge!

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I now know how to build on online platform, and that is a huge sense of empowerment.

Karena Ehrenholz (class of 2020)

"I have always dreamed of hiking Mount Everest - to take my love of hiking local trails to another level. Every year, in May, when the weather becomes favorable, the mountain opens for a small window of time for hikers to make their ascent up this formidable mountain.
When I signed up for EPM last October 2020, I embarked on a journey that fulfilled a long-time dream to start my own business. For me, the 12-week ‘hike’ through the EPM program was like climbing Mount Everest. It included moments of elation as I completed tasks and took action steps. But also brought days of overwhelm and panicked as I trekked this brand new business terrain way beyond my comfort level.
This experience has been one of positive growth with many wins. EPM equipped me and supported me on every level. I loved learning from Marisa’s role modeling, brilliance and wisdom, gained clarity and ideas from her side-door coaching as well as encouragement from others in the Facebook community.
I learned to design and market a program that I am passionate about and proud of and know will make an impact as I continue to iterate it and my way to the ‘top’.
I hit some huge storms during this program. But I learned to lean in and move through these blocks and limiting beliefs, especially around sales. I learned to believe in myself and how to make daily action steps a habit!
I couldn’t have been successful and enjoyed the journey so much had it not been for all the incredible and generous support of my coaches - especially Emily Fontes who has always been there when I needed help! Even when I couldn’t find the Graduation Button on my home page, Emily was miraculously available!
Such a wonderful group of people to have spent my 12-weeks with. Such a positive and empowering experience that gave me results beyond my expectations. Thank you for believing in me and equipping me so well. I may not have reached the Everest Summit during this program but I have all the tools I need to reach Mission Accomplished on my own timeline. My success is inevitable! "

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
So many things! I have the know-how and confidence to have my own successful business!

How did EPM help you become successful?
Through all the coaching and Facebook support, compelling content, and tools that I learned especially the marketing campaigns.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I know that I can make my dream of pivoting from working 9-5pm for someone else to having a successful online program and business that makes a positive impact.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Having practical, proven tools that allow me to go forward. Like a roadmap of actionable steps that I simply just need to follow. By taking daily action of small steps, I continue to move my business forward.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
To have my own online business that is both successful and making an impact!!

Ron Kaiser (class of 2020)

After undergoing a number of trainings that helped me feel good about my idea, I needed the structure of EPM to take it to the next level. Although I have had to balance it with a busy work schedule that has kept me from reaching Mission Accomplished so far, I have learned to quit obsessing and become proactive, and I am confident that I will achieve great results - just about a month later than the end of the program.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Stay proactive, don't wait for perfection, and marketing is not a dirty word.

How did EPM help you become successful?
It provided the structure and excellent coaching that I needed to move forward.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I've got terrific feedback from my target market to know that my program is needed, and I've sold more copies of my book.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
My program is no longer a well-kept secret.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I see the potential to make this a significant business with an impact on the world, and I would anticipate earning a significant income rather than seeing it as a side business.

Simon Richards (class of 2020)

I was quite nervous as I started EPM because I was totally unclear on my niche or what kind of experience product I might want to create. I didn't come into the program with a defined direction or as an established practitioner; all I knew was that I wanted to help people. So the Profitable Product Idea Challenge was really helpful as a prequel to the main course as it got me thinking and analysing myself and my real goals for taking EPM - I must have run through that material 3 or 4 times struggling with what my unique contribution should be. My first Lightbulb Moment came a couple of weeks into the main EPM course when I realised that my 40-year journey as an early adopter of technology was something I could leverage. But my real breakthrough actually came in the "Art of Naming" when I came up with the concept of helping people overcome technology barriers to starting or growing their business; I clarified that my underlying passion was to help people embrace & utilise technology rather than fear & shun it. So a new business idea of my own was born - techurdler - and not only clarity for this first experience product, but also a whole series of products into the future. A big burst of creativity & action swiftly followed and I started developing this brand and chatterboxing around not only my first course but the whole idea of being a tech coach. All was going really well crafting the experience and planning my marketing until my underlying health condition flared up on the run-up to Christmas and rather curtailed my progress throughout January. So I feel I have failed - failed to achieve Mission Accomplished and the goal I set myself - but I have succeeded in gaining much clarity and a direction for the rest of 2021 & beyond and for that I am truly grateful.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Iterate your way to success! I have always fallen victim to the paralysis of analysis, but I truly have accepted that I need to get something out of the door and let the product develop over time.

How did EPM help you become successful?
It helped me clarify why I do what I do

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
A bunch of headaches to start with and the success I desire is yet to come, but I now know what I want to do and why I haven't been fully satisfied over the last 10 years.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I created a whole new brand and future direction

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I believe I can really enjoy the next few years sharing my gift.

Jessica Freeman (class of 2020)

I have been really impressed with the EPM experience. The Facebook group was so supportive. The videos were inspiring and taught me a lot. I really learned a lot about myself and creating a digital course through the process. I thought I had a homerun project (and maybe I still do….everyone I talk to about it gets very excited and thinks it’s a great idea!) I wasn’t worried about selling it. I was more worried about creating it. And I think I let my fears of perfection and success get in my way. I never got around to creating the project, because I kept waiting for the videos that would tell me how to create it. I didn’t want to mess up and not have enough experiences. And even though I made the checklists for the Experience Escalation, I never felt like I had permission to start creating. I was keeping up really well with the class, the videos, the homework. I had a lot of trouble chatterboxing because I really couldn’t find anyone to talk to. With this pandemic, I just haven’t seen the people that I used to see and I’m not one who has ever called up people to talk on the phone. (I noticed that no one even talks to each other on planes any more....so I couldn't even meet people that way!) I messaged friends on Facebook about my survey and got 61 responses and 39 emails, which I was happy with because I hadn’t expected that many to respond. But then the survey lesson said to follow up with them, and I didn’t feel like I could follow up with them yet because I didn’t have the course even started. So I put it off, which was easy enough: it was holiday time. Then suddenly it was January and I was traveling with my son and there were quarantines and unexpected snafus and it was finally time to watch the last unit of videos but I still hadn’t started finding customers. I thought I could find a few. I was wrong. I DID write a series of emails and worked very hard on setting up a website, but I was afraid to put a price on my product because I recognized many of the names of the people on my email list and they were all homeschooling moms with no money who couldn’t afford or justify spending so much on a course. I watched the marketing videos again, I tweaked, I hemmed and hawed, and finally I sent out emails with the price. One person asked if she could take it later in the spring because she just started university classes and is swamped. And no one else responded. I fell into a big funk. All of my EPM classmates are hitting mission accomplished, and I realized I didn’t do enough to find people for my product. I don’t know how to find people. And then I realized I hadn’t watched the last unit so I sat down and binge-watched the last set of videos. I got to the last video and really appreciated how encouraging Marisa is. I’m not perfect, I’m learning, it’s a process, I will get somewhere. And then discovered I actually had enough points to graduate, which surprised me. So in summary, I learned a lot about myself and I am on a path somewhere. I realize I need a lot more help, but I am thankful to have come this far.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I don't need to have a perfect product to start, iterate your way to awesome, keep pedaling.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
EPM was super encouraging and motivating most of the time. I'm sorry to say that my lack of success has made me rather depressed, though, and I probably would not be having these feelings without going through EPM. You probably don't want to use that in your marketing materials, huh?

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I've taken the first steps, set up a website, and begun a Facebook page to begin interactions.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
It's possible I could make a successful product and then market it.
