Vanessa Gallego

My name is Vanessa Gallego, I was born in Venezuela but I have been living in Spain for 10 years now. I'm a journalist but I work as a marketing expert that does publicity. I'm like a superwoman. I have two works. One, I work in an agency that works in the pharmaceutical sector doing campaigns and so I have marketing boutique and I help startups and entrepreneurs to do their business in a better way.

First, I knew that I didn't want a job 9-5 or 9-7. And that was it. I want to do something that was really meaningful to me. And in some way I wanted to help people. So I decided to do marketing that is something that I love to do. I can help these entrepreneurs and these business startups to develop their business in a soulful and really meaningful way.

When I worked with the start ups and freelance and I saw in the agency that I work I knew that people need to learn more about marketing. And I thought in many ways to do it but none of them felt right or felt complete. I just didn't want to do an online course so people paid me money and just do if they actually did the course. So I was with this idea for a long time but just let it be there.

And then Marisa came into my life and the way that she came was really funny because I was just looking around on the internet and I saw a Facebook ad and I just click it and I enrolled in the webinar that she had and the webinar was that day actually and I saw webinar and I woke up my husband at 2:00 in the morning to tell him that I wanted to take money from the joint account to do EPM.

And I just knew this was the thing that I was waiting for. And that if I wanted to teach I wanted to teach that way. I didn't want to teach in another way. Yes. I was concerned too, yes, because I know that the money that EPM costs in the United States is very well for a course like that.

But in Spain is the same money that you can buy a master degree. So I was really concerned because my mind was like, do you want to do another master's degree or do you want to do this. And I decided to do this. I knew that that was the thing that I needed to learn in that moment.

I became Marisa's groupie and it was the first time that I just felt like a fan for someone, like I was really a fan. First of all, I decided to do it and to do it well. And my experience was phenomenal. What I learned is that EPM is taught in a way that you can surrender. Do what they tell you to do and just wait for the results. And for me it was really big step because I have to let go and I always try to control so things can be done in the way that I want them to be done. So I did it and it worked.

EPM is really a course to teach you how to do online courses but for me was more for me was a way to do business, because you learn so much about yourself. You learn so much about your own business and you learn so much about how to do things to really impact on other people that I felt that I needed to change the way that I did business.

One of my favorite parts of the Experience Product Masterclass was being in a community that helps each other when you feel down. Because sometimes you feel down and it's a great community to celebrate your wins. So I felt part of something and something bigger than me. And it was people that was working on the same thing that I wanted to work on. So it was a really really good. And actually I made a really good friends that I still talk.

My biggest breakthrough was that nothing has to be actually perfect. And it was a big one. The second one surrender. Understand that you can surrender and do the things that you have to do without thinking or over thinking. That was a breakthrough too.

The third one was that I could do it. That it was OK. It was OK to go online and do it just do what and see what happens. Maybe no one's going to buy from you. Maybe someone is going to buy from you. So don't wait anymore and just do it. And that was a breakthrough too because I think most of the people that has online businesses are a little bit afraid of success. And I was, like, I can do it.

And the fourth one or five I don't know how many, was the idea of marketing. So that was a really important for me because as I told you I was thinking about it. And but I haven't given words and she gave it words. Now you can use marketing to help others to achieve what they need to achieve. And it was really important for me.

Marisa is such very professional that I really enjoyed to work with her. I'm really honoured to be around her and her community. She just really really really committed to her every students that asked for help.

And well that was one thing for me was determined to actually invest in the program because I felt at that moment when I invested and during the course during the master class that actually when I need her help was her or her team or someone from the community to help you to get through what you need to get through.

The real impact in my business after EPM was not only that I'm making more money but that I'm helping my clients in a better way. And actually I dare to go online. I work in marketing online but I mean I never needed to go online to find clients. Right now I'm just enjoying it and it's working really really well.

Before EPM, I was making enough income to support my family. Basically that was it. And after EPM I'm changing the way that I do business and I almost doubled my income month to month. And I'm using that extra money to grow my business in a more professional way.

The incredible thing about having an online business is that I can have Spanish speaking clients all over the world. Actually I have two clients in the states and some in Latin America. And the other great thing is that I can work from whatever I want. Actually past Tuesday I was at the beach near my house just working there. And that was fabulous.

What I knew from 10 years ago is that I didn't want a life that began at nine o'clock and finished at 7 o'clock. And I also wanted to raise my kids. I was sure that you wouldn't want someone else to raise them for me. So an online business has allowed me to be with them when they need me.

To have the life that I actually want. I know that I can sound like an infomercial but that's true. I can be with them when they need me and I can work from everywhere if I need to travel. I can learn a lot. I can take my Wednesday afternoon to learn. That's what I do and I know if I had a normal office job I couldn't do that. So I don't know another way to leave and I would never come back to my life. That means to be in one place all the time.

Oh, I feel like I'm a super woman every day of my life. Every day of my life in practically every moment. I love to be a woman to be a mom and I really really enjoy that part of me and I think we all women that helped to raise kids are superwoman in some way or another.

My kids just love the way they work and they feel like they want to work like me when they grow up. I don't see them in an office. And my husband is very supportive because actually he let me do what I want. So, that's how it is.

Impact on my clients? They love me. They actually love me and our relationship is more, it's a business relationship that becomes a friendship because I help them to be more of who they are, helping their business to grow. Some way we finally have a deeper relationship that will have a client to another person. If they were my clients. So I think the impact it's not just the impact I made to their business but how they they made my life because they fulfilled my life in the same way that I help them to grow.

If you are thinking about doing it and you feel it's right just do it. Don't overthink it, just to it.

Your Graduation Story
I didn't know if I'd be able to reach my target goal after three years of plowing hard ground and 2 previous launches with pitiful results for my evergreen online course Healing Your Empty Arms. So I decided to try a different format, modeled by Marisa, with a coaching element included with the videos and pdfs in a 1:few program at a higher price point. I was skeptical thinking that if people won't buy at $197 why would they buy at $497?! But, I kept plowing and pressing forward in spite of the naysayers within and without, determined to give this one last shot. I know there is a huge need for help in this area because I don't have enough clinical hours in the week to keep up with the demand. I also figured I must be doing something in the process that is getting in the way of reaching those online who need it most. After investing alot of time and money in creating top level videos for the course, and knowing the huge need in the market, it seemed crazy to me that we weren't getting any traction. Finally, on the very last day of EPM I was able to push the little green button and cheer MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! ....Followed by Fatigue face plant :)

How incredibly challenging it is to convert an online cold/warm market on the topic of grief recovery

Hearing your story of 4 years of disappointing results lit a fire in me to keep going. And look at you now!!! Wooohooo! You are absolutely AMAZING! :)

Your Mission Accomplished Story
Toward the end of last year, I was in the process of developing an online training program that will be part of a series I am developing for TransformationTV when I was forwarded a message from Marisa about EPM.

I was struggling with how to make this course stand out - even with my experience in adult learning and college level professorship, I knew that just talking to slides was rather boring and was spinning a lot on what to do.

Up until this point I had spent A LOT of money over the last 14 months with branding, niche, signature system development, website building, marketing, etc. and hadn't experienced much success - some, but not enough to even START to pay back the debt that was building as I was building my business.

So after listening to Marisa's message and her rock solid - I'll give you your money back guarantee, I had to go for it!

And I can tell you, I'm so so so glad I did.

I thought I had dialed in the niche and branding and "thought about skipping it" but decided that I was in it - full on. Went through the entire training - trudging along the overachiever track.

It didn't change my niche - health and wellness, anti-aging but it did put a polish and shine on the dull and ordinary - even down to how I now see myself. I went from boring - Ayurvedic Practitioner - to the Love Child of Mother Nature and Dr. Deming. I went from boring - I can help you - to let me show you the ways of the Zenkai Master.

The favorite part for me was the mind mapping and vision boarding the program. I had folders and folders full of ideas the wishes. In a week I had gone through every scrap of paper I had and had assembled them in a visual display - right out in front of me.

It showed me how much I already had - how much of the wheel I didn't need to reinvent. I was able to look at each Module with new eyes - what's the mission, what's the benefit, how will I keep them engaged, how do I surprise and delight, how to I support their expedition to Future Healthy Me?

I got clarity out of the exercise that I hadn't had before.

I jumped onto Heroic, moved my old website over and now have some clean up to do but rebranded with color pallets that were provided. I've gotten more consistency with materials that I am posting and sharing. Just that little bit made a big difference in how I presented myself and my message.

Then the marketing piece came and the example provided gave me a great foundation to start. Ran some facebook ads, email campaigns, chatterbox, etc. and one day a few weeks ago I reached out to someone I had pegged as my perfect client and by the end of the conversation I had sold my first EPM program - bingo~ off and running. Next day, another! The conversations were easy because I had my birds eye view and was able to talk through the program, benefits, and journey they would take on.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

How to deliver the wow was first and foremost in my mind to set them off excited so I quickly developed a welcome sequence, gave them access to templates, and every other day emails of inspiration. We launch 2/10 so I am making sure to keep them engaged.

Now I am working to get the welcome and first module up and available in Xperiencify and deliver this training JIT, but that's ok, I'm earning while I'm learning and building a product I am really proud of.

The impact to me personally is the confidence to just go for it. I have since planned two live trainings (via Zoom), have been posting and chatterboxing more than every before - and as a true introvert, that's BIG, and feel really confident that this year is the year of profit and blue skies....

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Keep it simple, adjust along the way, keep believing!

How did EPM help you become successful?
EPM helped me look at online training differently which I believe is going to differentiate me from the pack.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I have known that bringing Ayurveda to the modern day corporate woman was what I was meant to do. My husband wasn't so convinced I could make a go of it (he's an hourly wage worker and it's hard to get him to think of making $$$ otherwise. I wish I had my camera ready when I told him I sold two programs.... It convinced him that my efforts are not in vain and that I'm on the path to something big... he even bought me flowers the next day!!!!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
How I package my programs going forward.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I am proud of what I am building and the impact it will have on those who join the Iterate Your Way to Wellness Journey. Which makes it so easy to talk about and want to share with others.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Great support team. Would love to be a M2M Live but am not able to make it this year.... am planning on seeing you in 2021!

Lori-Ann Gertonson

Your Graduation Story
I have been a practicing holistic chiropractor for over 36 years. During that time I treated patients and offered educational programs, workshops, training on health, healing, and lifestyle, all on site at the office. Needless to say times have changed and the main platform to do that now is on-line, or by phone or video chat. My concern was - could I create a virtual/online program that could lead people to creating lasting change and transformation? In the office I knew I could create experiences and accountability that led people to take action on their own behalf to create that change.

I had tread into the on-line world a bit offering webinars, but had very little engagement. I really didn’t market them well, even though I had the warm market of my patients. I didn’t really understand marketing.

I enrolled in EPM because it intuitively seemed like just the right approach for me to make the transition from in office practice to virtual trainings in which I could continue to create valuable experiences for my patients and clients to be able to transform their lives. I didn’t want to fully retire from practice but I knew I did not want to continue to go to the office every day. I wanted more free time to spend with my family and choose my own schedule to be able to travel or do more things I enjoyed in life. I also realized that I could greatly expand my reach and serve more people, even those not in close proximity to my office.

I was a total novice at the on-line information product creation thing, although I have definitely been a consumer of these products. As Marissa said in the original webinar that most information products don’t engage people but EPM would teach me how to build the perfect experience product for my patients/clients so they could be engaged and truly transform their lives.

I had also published a book, and although it was filled with valuable information, I knew just reading it would not always inspire everyone to take action. I thought that EPM could help me bring my book to life with more engagement with that information.

In EPM I was able to develop clarity in my messaging, and develop skills of designing, marketing and delivering a virtual program. I decided that I would start with a 1:few group coaching program.

I can’t say enough how comprehensive EPM is. Everything I needed to consider and develop in terms of a coaching framework, curriculum structure, deliverables, marketing and delivery of the program was addressed in great detail.

Before EPM the marketing was the most intimidating. I didn’t really understand marketing or marketing campaigns. One of the things I most appreciated was the lesson about marketing and how it is essential to fulfill my purpose. I always thought of marketing as sales and didn’t feel comfortable with that. I grew my practice through referrals and not through any external marketing campaigns. The world of squeeze pages, sales pages, landing pages etc, was all new to me. I am still in the process of learning about these things but feel I have a better understanding of it and of all the resources available to create them.

In the creation of my group coaching program , I utilized a chatterbox campaign (that one I understood), but also the start with an experience campaign, and perfect email campaign. In that process I delivered a webinar on Zoom for the first time, and created an email campaign with purpose. I learned how to create better copy and subject lines to engage the reader to open and read. That in itself was extremely valuable not just for the program I created but in the business of my practice. So much was relevant to my primary business as well as to the new programs that I will create in the future!

I appreciated listening in on the coaching sessions, and the implementation Fridays sessions. There was so much to learn that it felt overwhelming at times, yet at the same time doable. I really appreciated Marissa always reminding us to “iterate your way to success.” This definitely kept me grounded and moving forward instead of being in the paralysis of procrastination.

Unfortunately, life happened and I did not get to Mission Accomplished in the 10 weeks of EPM. We had 2 deaths in the family in the middle of the program and I was unable to finish on time. However, the structure of the program and the milestone document that I created along the way helped to anchor me to the process and hold everything that I had worked on previously. I was able to continue to move forward albeit slower than originally planned.

As a result of EPM I am ready to launch my 8 week group coaching program
and will work toward reaching Mission Accomplished within the next several weeks. I have made 2 sales so far and only 2 more to go to reach Mission Accomplished.

I feel confident in my ability to deliver the same high quality services I deliver in my practice in this new format and that my patients/clients will be able to achieve the transformation in their health and life.

I know I am still a novice at this, but I feel like I have gone from preschool to graduating 6th grade in 10 weeks! I know that as I continue to learn and implement the skills from EPM I will grow and expand and be well on my way to creating a new business of Experience Products.

After 36 years in practice, I feel that I don’t have to retire, but can transition from having to show up at the office every day, to building a new virtual business that I can do from my home, (or anywhere) with the freedom to choose my own work schedule, spend more time with my husband and grandchild, while still providing high level service and experiences for my patients/clients to transform their lives. And even better, I can expand my reach to serve even more people and continue to serve my purpose.

Thank you to Marissa, Don, and staff at EPM. You are all awesome.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I had several takeaways from EPM.
1-The first is that creating an on-line program doesn't have to be daunting or scary. It is possible one step at a time and EPM did just that for me.

2- If I want to help as many people as possible with my expertise that I must learn to love marketing and that marketing is essential to fulfill my purpose. I do not need to be fearful of marketing.

3-And, that it is possible to create an on-line product that truly engages people so they can take action on their own behalf to transform their life.

How did EPM help you become successful?
I am still working on creating more income from on-line products, but it has helped me in my private practice applying the same principles of marketing. I think it is too early to see the full results yet.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
After 36 years in practice, I feel that I don’t have to retire, but can transition from having to show up at the office every day, to building a new virtual business that I can do from my home, (or anywhere) with the freedom to choose my own work schedule, spend more time with my husband and grandchild, while still providing high level service and experiences for my patients/clients to transform their lives. And even better, I can expand my reach to serve even more people and continue to serve my purpose.

What has been the biggest change in your business?
The biggest change in my business is being able to offer additional services like the virtual coaching program which allows me to deliver my message to a wider reach of people, not just those in close proximity to my office and create an additional stream of income.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I am most excited to apply the knowledge and skills to creating additional products or improving this one and transitioning to making this a more full time business and letting go of my in office practice.

I have been attending several courses from online gurus and I somehow could not even make a single step towards actually starting and doing it--until EPM. It had been an awesome journey and the support has been overwhelming and unbelievable. It is simply indescribable--the fantastic courses, the personalized coaching, the wonderful community-- all gelled into a pure and genuine experience product.

I do not think there would be anything out there that would come close to this experience--and I have been to excellent ones (PLF, Tribe, Ask Method, BBD--all in the same year--to name a few). I would describe it as having all the other courses I took --put together in a consumable delicious product plus the tech--which EPM so thoughtfully included in the package. Highly, highly recommended.

Your Mission Accomplished Story
I've been working on a chatter box campaign and sold 20 spots in the new membership which I was afraid of launching prior to EPM so it was easy to accomplish once I get going.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
Gamification techniques really - a lot for me was quite beginner level in terms of the training but I enjoyed looking at ways to gasify my product more.

Your Graduation Story
EPM is the most comprehensive program I have ever seen for the value. Iteration is a skill to be cultivated, and this program covers everything from logistics to mindset. I think most of all, the way it prioritizes marketing, messaging, and bringing a mission “home” in an understandable way -- as the primary foundation for responding to the needs of our market, and having that feedback fuel ongoing content creation, has been by far the biggest take-away for everyone participating. It’s such a breath of fresh air to hear that emphasis from the stage… That the people – what they want, is important, not just what you as a content creator think you have to say. 10 Weeks later, I have completed the full program, my email list has grown, and I am solidly on my way to having an actual “Product” vs. a Service, and an additional revenue stream launching within the next 30 days. And… I have no doubt in the depth of that foundation’s ability to be repeated going forward. Thank-you Marisa for your contribution to that journey. In Spirit, Trae Ashlie-Garen

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

How did EPM help you become successful?
I have a foothold that is repeatable, and I can access the material over and over and over again.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
(Same as above)

What has been the biggest change in your business?
I actually enjoy the marketing process more now. I've always been a geek for numbers, and this makes achievement more quantifiable.

I had been in my own business before and burned out by trying to do everything myself to save money. This forced me to go back into the work place. EPM has given me the tools and system to start my business again and begin the transition back to what I love doing, my reason for being and my passion and purpose ... supporting people to live from the inside out instead of the conditioned world around them.

I am inspired to continue building my offering and have already attracted a team of people to co-create with me.I am blown away by the synchronicities showing up in my life, this program has assisted me to get clarity in myself, the ability to say no when something doesn't resonate with my values and the determination to keep going with all the amazing support along the way.

This is truly the most life changing program I have ever done, your generosity in all the wins that are part of EPM is fantastic. Although I have not launched my program yet (28 Feb 2019) the value I have received surpasses the investment in this program.

2019 will be an amazing year and it is my intention to be at Message To Money live in 2020.

Deepest gratitude to you and your Team.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

Where to begin... there were so many. Realizing how my childhood was set up in such a way that I was not allowed to travel the same road as so many, I instead went within myself and this took me on an amazing journey which on reflection I am truly grateful for.

The amazing journey I went on throughout EPM, it was beyond what I could have imagined and I know I will be going through it in its entirety again soon. Wow what an experience, deep gratitude.

How did EPM help you become successful?

I now have the confidence to create an amazing quality product from A - Z over and over as I iterate my way to awesome.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?

My life has changed so as my belief in what I am doing and what I have to offer has moved to a whole new level. It has become a reality no longer a dream.

What has been the biggest change in your business?

My productivity and the wonderful team I have attracted to work with me.

Before I worked on my own part time while being employed full time and now I am transitioning into my business full time.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?

Having the know how and tools to engage my clients and support them in transforming their lives. It is not just about selling my product but rather positively impacting one life at a time and building a community that support each other and make a difference in our world.

Your Mission Accomplished Story
Wow! I started with a question mark in my mind. Normally I'm a confident guy, an almost 50% split between introvert and extravert. Reaching out to people chatter boxing was kind of a challenge for me, but I pushed passed my comfort zone on line. I got 9 responses from my give 'em what they want campaign, so I used my mission statement, future self and responses from give em what they want to assemble a sales page and video. It was coming close to the deadline and I did not want to request Marisa match my failure. So I squeezed my confidence a bit more, put together a super fans challenge. A lot of friend clicked to join. One guy that I'd known for some years had been following me as a coach. I've always encouraged him to reach for his goals. That one guy completed all the tasks. I shared my sales page and video with him after the challenge as his next step. He said, Yes, I'm in. He said, "This is such a great gift!! The really awesome part was it happened right before my birthday, allowing me to submit my mission accomplished story the day before my birthday! It's a great birthday gift to me!! January 30th, 2020!!!! Thanks to EPM!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The product development and delivery template is going to keep me from running round in circles trying to create a product any more

How did EPM help you become successful?
This came at a time when I was circling around trying to figure out what to do next to create a course. I was sickly uncomfortable. Though my wife calls me the bull dog of accomplishment, never letting go until I accomplish what I set out to do, the drip content process forced me to stay focused and take one step at a time.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I believe so much in my product now, which has given me even more confidence than I had before!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Going from feeling like I needed to start by giving people a deal, thinking I needed to charge $47 or $97 to feeling comfortable charging $1,997 and expecting to raise prices because of the quality we bring, and to be able to bring in more coaches.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?
I feel so excited to be part of the Live Your Message Tribe. I’ve watched Marisa for years, gathering her free material. The $2,000 guarantee “No brainer” decision allowed me to see inside the EPM activities and confirm what I assessed all the while, Marisa is a genius, and I’m so excited to see what’s coming in the future!

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Thank you Marisa, for being awesome! I really appreciated everybody in EPM, the group, meetings, everyone is simply super awesome! I told Becky, I think we EPM’ers are family, and I love my EMP family!
