This video might be one of the most valuable ways I've spent an hour in the last year (and I'm in grad school!) So much serious information and tips, I keep pausing and taking notes and writing thoughts. I'm beyond impressed! :)

I was dreading the huge job of marketing my course, because I knew in my heart that it would be an uphill climb. And I knew in my heart that what I had created, while I got some good feedback in the beta testing, was not going to have the impact I wanted it to. It was not going to help people accomplish their mission, which is: to understand and absorb the process of the Hero's Journey and use it to create your own Hero's Journey — and to feel confident in your ability to repeat this process and share it with others.

I was feeling stressed and tired because I knew what I was doing was not going to work, but I didn't want to give up on my dream. You have helped me see that I'm stuck, not because I am fenced in with only one gate to move through -- but because I am so focused on that gate that I failed to see there really is no fenced in enclosure.

I feel excited, and truth be told, a bit overwhelmed by all this right now. But I know that you're demonstrating a process that will pull me forward through this overwhelm and help me believe that I can do this. And this is exactly what I want to help my learners do. This is the solution I've been waiting for . . .

Your Graduation Story
This was an excellent way for me to ""experience"" both sides of the story. The EPM side as a student and the ""Teacher"" side. I never realised how much prep goes into a programme like this. I have the feeling that I have been working on it for months and am still only at the begining of the individual module prep. Having experienced this journey I am also better able to appreciate the value of this EPM course, in money and in knowledge-value.

I lost my way over Christmas - I don't know that this is really the best time have so much input, I felt horrible because even though I don't have many family obligations at this time I still found it difficult to get down and do the work, and I really nearly gave up.

My wisdom wednesday time was my third choice and it turned out to be a disaster for me - I had so many problems getting into the meeting at that time - I should have asked for one of the other times.

Anyway, by doing this course, and starting my own product, I have managed to find my passion for what I want to do in the future. I've been waiting for an opportunity to combine my qualification as a teacher (which I'm not allowed to use in Germany) with something I am passionate about - graphic design, webdesign, communication and creativity - and my 20 years of experience. I know now that I want to help ""normal"" people learn some skills that are going to help them communicate their message on different levels in the future.

It's starting with building a website ... and there is so much more to come.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
The actual experience of the EXPERIENCE PRODUCT. Itterate your way to success. I heard another coach on FB explaining about where we find our selves on the experience ladder - there is always someone below us that really needs our help -- this was a key thought that helped me appreciate what I have to give to the world.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
Made me more certain of who I am and what I have to give.

I was having the problem of overwhelm and uncertainty in building my business– I wasn’t sure what to focus on daily, constantly overthinking and was struggling to get closer to reaching my big goal– launching and marketing my branding business. I joined EPM and discovered the power of focusing on building one product at a time, experiencifying my services and building momentum, both with myself and my clients.

It felt like with which each lesson, these puzzle pieces which were scattered in my mind before, were finally falling into place and I found a clear vision and path forward of what exactly I was building and why. I now have planned, designed and am practicing my lead product process, which informs and inspires my branding design offerings and helps my creative entrepreneur clients with actionable insights to building their brand.

This feels awesome because it not only helps me build my business and freedom in my life, but it also impacts my creative clients in huge ways, like valuing themselves more, feeling more confident and authentic with who they are and what they do. EPM has been a game changer for me and my business, thank you Marisa!

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?

How to integrate positive experiences into products and services to increase engagement and impact.

My fascination with experiential design has grown massively because of this class and it already has changed the way I develop branding and marketing for myself and my clients. By far, this has been the best course I have ever taken because of the focus it gave me and the way it made me feel.

How did EPM help you become successful?

I got more done on my business in November and December than I had in months, trying to build everything for my business all at once and constantly overthinking. Now, I have designed and built a lead product that can stand alone but also powerfully inform my design offerings. I finally feel confident that I can deliver on my promises because of this process I've productized.

EPM gave me the power of focus I needed to put all my effort and energy into this one piece of the larger puzzle that is my business and that made all the difference. Even though I haven't gotten to marketing it quite yet, I know that once I do launch my campaigns, I will be prepared, come across as professional and valuable to the creative people I want to help the most.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?

I feel like I have a solid foundation to build and iterate upon, which has given me more confidence that I can and will reach my goals, not only in business but in life. I feel like I know the specifics of what I need to work on during the day, so that I can spend more time relaxing and recharging when I'm not working, which is huge!

What has been the biggest change in your business?

Before, I was just trying to sell my design services and gaining context through a simple questionnaire, but somehow it never felt like I had enough insight and I felt like I was undercharging.

Now, I have a structured process in place before I do any design work that'll give me insights to create great branding work. I'll also be doing less free work, by avoiding the typical proposal stage, and instead, sell my lead product to clients, which will save time without pay.

What are you most excited about moving forward with your Experience Product?

I'm super excited to sell, practice and then utilize the insights from this lead product I've built because I know this piece alone will help creatives differentiate and market themselves better.
