Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I was having challenges with refining my ideal client and I wasn't sure what to do about prioritising in getting my course-creation ideas out systematically without hitting walls or scattering my focus. I joined EPM and was able to run through and prioritise each clear step toward launching a high-level product in weeks. I completed my launch plan and was able to start attracting ideal clients with ease and flow in 10 weeks, which is the fastest time for me to date.

ease and flow of getting things I want done. Super-charged excitement and curiosity for what's possible now to develop my course and business ongoing. Gamifying creates great experiences and motivation to learn and create success. Kick-starting my own business!

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
"I am a person with a passion. I felt I could teach the world to sing “the tune in their heart” by creating an online course to help them level up their social skills in a massive way. Millennials and Gen Zs (I like to call them “Zillennials”) are extraordinarily tech-focused, and at the same time “lonelier” than any generation in recent memory! And I felt I had the answer to their urgent need.

So, I took a training on how to create such a course. And I created it. It was ‘perfectly good’ at providing information. But I felt something was missing. And I sure didn’t know how to market the thing. Although I am essentially a creative person, I was STUCK. I did NOT want to strike out in the wrong direction. This idea was my BABY. I didn’t want to expose it to the world unprepared. Nor did I want to throw it out with the bathwater.

One online day, I came across Marisa Murgatroyd and her fresh approach to course creation and marketing. What she described was exactly what my course was missing! She talked about how to create a course that would truly induce TRANSFORMATION. A course that students would eagerly look forward to completing because it was so engaging and memorable.

So I became a student of EPM. And wow, I got all I hoped for and MORE in this extraordinary course. It guided me step-by-step through all I needed to know and beyond.

Picture it this way. My original course was like a bunch of ideas on a piece of paper. Looks great! Now toss that piece of paper at the great wide world. And watch that paper flutter helplessly to the ground as it never reaches its target market, or any market at all. What EPM did is show me how to take my ‘piece of paper’ and carefully start folding it in specific ways. Using tested principles, the paper began to have a bit more structure. A fold here, a crease there. By the end of EPM my basic course idea was now a full-fledged PAPER PLANE ready to take flight. It doesn’t have the weight of a lot of unnecessary detail. The bells and whistles can wait. It’s streamlined, and ready to fly straight at my TARGET AUDIENCE.

That is where I am now, confident and ready to take the MVP version of my Experience Product to the world. I’ve got what people need to make an incredible transformation in their lives. I cannot even begin to describe how much Marisa and the EPM team OVERDELIVERED on their promises for this course. I feel truly equipped to take on the world with my Experience Product. Put those tray tables up, Zillennials, Conversational Chemistry is ready to teach you “How To Talk As Well As You Text.”

Thank you Marisa and the entire EPM team. You have really made a difference!

I now have a viable product that I'm CONFIDENT will get results for students. It's really been a mindset shift. This is not something I'm just toying with as a hobby anymore. This is HAPPENING and will contribute both to my bottom line and my legacy. We're not here to just create products, we're here to CHANGE LIVES. I'm confident I'm offering something that can change the world, and I have the tools to make that impact.

I’d like to provide feedback on our Pod Coach Missy Singer DuMars. I cannot say enough about what a great Pod we had, supported by Missy’s excellent coaching! Our Pod #BeTheCourage was an integral part of the overall experience. Missy set the tone with a firm yet loving hand! She was invested in our success. She was our motivator, encourager, resource and CHAMPION. She was brilliant at picking up on where we were stuck, and obstacles we were putting in front of ourselves that we didn’t even realize were there. And she showed us how to remove them! We watched real-time as an EPM member would present a promising but unwieldy idea. Somehow Missy was able to get to the essence of the idea and help us craft a powerful and SUCCINCT way of expressing it. It was remarkable watching her do that, and by guiding us we had ownership in the result, as well as a powerful learning experience. The VIBE of the group was incredible. Missy started us off with a theme song that carried us from beginning to end. I feel we all benefited from her expertise, her encouragement, her devotion to our success, and her assurance that this was a journey we would all succeed with. She really embodied the spirit I think you’re trying to imbue EPM with. She was (and is) a truly memorable coach, and I feel very fortunate that I got to work with her. Five stars and KA-CHING!

This has been a great experience for me. I learned so much from everyone. Even though I did not officially launch my program (I am in the process of starting my business) the information was so useful. When my business is up and running I will have the experience and the knowledge to successfully market my product.

"I have started so many classes like this, and never finished them!! Because of the way the course is broken up into do-able little bits, I was finally able to finish. Also because: pandemic lockdown. I would sometimes watch the video, and then be about to walk away without doing the worksheet. Then I would check myself: ""It's a pandemic. I literally have nothing else to do right now. What am I going to do that's more important than this? I'll just *look* at the worksheet."" If I could get myself to look at the worksheet and gauge the work, I would usually do it. A couple times the worksheet was a big job, and I'd have to think about it and schedule time to do it later. But--I did!! and it felt sooooo good to finally complete those things that seemed really big and difficult. I remember being in my office after clicking the button one night, feeling that sense of accomplishment from doing something I had been putting off, and thinking, now I can do this from my to-do list, and now I can do that, but then I thought--""no! This is enough."" I almost never feel like I have done enough in a day, so that was freeing. And usually--the assignments weren't that difficult or time-consuming.

I was always a little unclear about exactly who to market this to however, which Marisa finally nailed for me on our last laser coaching call! :-) It's weird how it seems like maybe you're not getting the level of attention you want, but really--the universe gives you what you need when you need it.

I actually launched the workshop to my networks, which is a step I've never taken before. I am ready to make sales calls to English departments, and used to have a list of these--which of course I couldn't find now! I spent a few hours looking for it and was disappointed, then realized I just have to build my own now. Which is fine, it'll just take a bit more time to get actual clients...

I was having several challenges with procastination, undecisivenes and perfectionism, I was so frustrated with myself because I was stuck but I had to find away to get past all my chellenges. I joined EPM and learned so much about myself I had to dig deep into why was I procastinating, why was I so undecisive and the hardest one is why does it have to be so perfect and what I learned is that I was afraid of the unknown, I was afraid to make the wrong decision and what I realized at the end was impertfection was ok. What I learned at the very end is that it was through impection that I was going to be able to complete the course and no way around it my time was running out and I just had to keep working through it. The amazing thing I discovered was a lot more CLARITY about how I can really expand my mission to help small business owners. I completed all the modules and realized that it was so much easier than I thought and I was already doing the work and just needed to implement a few tweaks and easily made 2 sales on the last day. What I am most excited about is the clarity of expanding my services in a course for group training so I can educate a lot more small businesses about how to successfully apply for a business loan with a bank. Super excited to share the knowledge to alot more people in the new format that I have just learned in EPM!!!!

What has been the biggest change in your business?
Clarity about how I will be able to accomplish my revenue goals and mission.

How has EPM and your success impacted your life?
I am no longer afraid of the unknown or making mistakes. I am ok with good enough and just keep interating as I go.

What is your biggest takeaway from EPM?
I did learn so much about myself. In the new year I set a goal to complete 3 programs that I started by year end. EPM really challenged me in a way that I can hold myself accountable. At the end I reconized my inner critic and just kept pushing through the doubt, fear and undecisiveness I was feeling. Not graduating was not an option. My biggest takeaway was that past the doubt, fear and undecisivenes was CLARITY.

What is now possible for you because of your Experience Product?
I am a lot more clear about how I can deliver my services to a broader audience. I have a roadmap and resources.

Is there anything else you would like to add?
Suggstion: Maybe this was available and I missed it. It could of been really helpful to see the whole map of all the videos and plan my time better. In a checklist /task list (with boxes next to each one so I can check off) It would be cool if could be printed it out with titles and brief overview of what is covered for each video and time duration for each video and estimated time it would take to complete the worksheets. Just an idea.

I was struggling on how to describe what added value I offer to those who have not had a personal conversation with me. On a website, social media etc. I joined the EPM program and I am still no clearer. The sale I got was because I had a personal conversation, people can hear in my voice and feel from my presence and then they join my online training. Nonetheless I learned a lot from the EPM program.

Your GRADUATION Story
We did it! We were enrolled in another course development program, not sure what my course topic should be, when I found Marisa who offered the 5 day Challenge to find the course topic and niche that is right for me. I left my other course and joined EPM because of the coaching, the make it back guarantee and Xperiencify (which is a fit with our Experiential Learning expertise),and jumped in putting in 200% of everything we have to find the right niche and create a rapid development course that achieves our goal: which is creating a product we can earn residual income with as we retire and work no more than 10-15 hours a week. We obviously haven't achieved the 10-15 hours a week yet! But we expect to get there someday, if not with this course, with the other 2 course ideas we have!

"For more than a decade, I helped numerous adult professionals develop their ability to feel comfortable and confident in personal and professional situations through Toastmasters International, a non-profit organization which helps people age 18 and up develop public speaking and leadership skills. I wanted to create an online course to help high school teens, age 15 - 17, struggling with low self-esteem, gain confidence by developing competent speaking skills and techniques. Minor detail, I wasn't sure how to proceed. Then, I joined the Experience Product Masterclass and learned that I could create the skeleton for a paper plane version of my online course and ""iterate my way to awesome""! Step by step I completed Module 1, on time, and received the requisite thumbs ups from my coach. Then, as the Module 2 sessions kept dropping, I got stuck formulating my credibility boosters and ultimately fell further and further behind. I planned to catch up over the holiday breaks but family and health issues intervened. Module 3 dropped and I was still stuck in Module 2. Finally, on January 15, with just over two weeks left to graduation, I became laser focused. From January 16 - 26, I submitted Milestones 5 - 16 to my coach and received a thumbs up for Milestone 5-15. On January 27th, I received the final thumbs up for Milestone 16 and completed my MVP track. Woo Hoo!

Your GRADUATION Story
I was wanting to find a way to provide a course to teach option traders how to manage and enrich their mindset during the trading day, so it increases their profits through consistent trading wins. I wasn't sure what to provide that would be unique in the industry. I joined EPM and realized I could gamefy my training and daily trade room support to have option traders get excited about learning new skills and integrating them into their daily trading routines. This is done while reducing their stress levels and increasing their profits to allow them to obtain their financial freedom goals in 90 days or less and add joy to their lives through the process.

Your FIRST SALE Story
I identified a gap in the market for ETL software training. I started developing training material but got stuck. I joined the EPM program. It provided structure and helped me move forward: Progress over Perfection helped me to stop procrastinating.

Perfection in Material Development Help me move forward - stop procrastinating. Progress over Perfection Anything is possible

My suggestions are: 1. Make material available sooner. 2. Focus more on product/service development. 3. Timing of Program - very little happens in business between 15 Dec - 22 Jan. 4. The 1st few weeks until break felt rushed.

Your MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Story
I had part of my coaching course created and was looking for a gamified platform when I found EPM. I have no prior sales experience and, while I appreciate EPM framing it as conversations and connecting and outlining the chatterbox pivots method, it would have helped to have gone into more depth on and have opportunities to practice it in the program. I have slowly started to implement a few of the marketing strategies, like letting people know what I'm up to on my personal Facebook page, telling friends when I see/talk to them, etc. And one friend wanted to hear all about my program and I got through the chatterbox sequence to the closing pivot where I told her the investment required, and she's thinking about it.

I now have some basic tools to guide me with getting my program out there and the type of gamified platform I was looking for. I feel more confident in trying out an MVP and knowing I can pivot a little and try again. Give customers what they want that also addresses what they need. I now have a implementable program, not just a bunch of materials.
